Does anyone have a handle on what the fully diluted shares in issue is based on placings etc to date?

Providing they provide details of the assumptions and calculations, they are as useful as any other projection of the future.

If one doesn't agree with an assumption, it shoukd be easy to adjust and recalculate

So pick which barrel the company prefers to be over. That of short term funders or that of big pharma.

I'm very positive on the science, just not the funding from a PI impact given previous discounts etc.

Authority to allot shares and ignore existing rights is pretty much BAU for companies. Just the 100% is rather steep and doesn't inspire confidence.

Buy now with potentially 100% more shares on the horizon! And that's before a discount or bonus options

In this digital day and age, I'm surprised it's not easier to ask existing shareholders and do a rights issue when companies need a little extra.

Still, you all have your opportunities to make your thoughts known via the vote. Resolution 7 not passing would be an interesting result

No discount with lots of warrants, don't forget that little bit.

I agree they will profit on the long, but maybe they wanted a discount. Next best thing is long options and flip the shares to be risk free.

I'm not questioning if the end product is worth millions or pennies. I'm questioning the funding route to get there has historically been at the expense of LTH, hence I can see why PI's would not buy / average down.

My argument was against your intial point that there was "little risk", when IMO, there is significant risk.(Funding & results)

If this does go for £500m, and I'm sat at an average of say £10 a share vs your average of say £2 a share, then sure, you'll have made a lot more than me, but we'll both have done pretty well out of things. (Roughly 70 bagger v 14 bagger)

AGM soon, plenty of headroom after that.

Whilst it's not always a guide to the future, past performance indicates further discounted fund raises are the way of the world. Hence I can see why people will be keeping their powder dry.

You say you know of plenty queuing up to buy on those terms. So more people wanting a sweetner to get involved?

I have faith in the science, just the funding is clearly a challenge. Even more of a challenge to offer any value to LTH

I think your making the point here that funding uncertainty is the issue.

I have to disagree here. The risk is still there from a funding perspective and it's far from little.

History has shown that the funding has been undertaken on dilutive discounted methods which has hammered existing shareholders. What is there to say this isn't the method that will have to be taken going forward?

The share consolidation has just allowed for more discounted placings, nothing more.

Consequently, I would be cautious around investing anymore.

Apologies. Yes, there is dilution, but relative to other fund raises, this is minimal

I'd hardly call the director buying as "plenty of funding".

It's better than previous fund raises, that's for sure, but isn't going to last very long.

I question why this wasn't explored before as an option over giving significant discounts to 3rd parties?

No dilution is good, so onward the wagon rolls.

I fear any CLN will just end in the usual death spiral, where shorting / forward sales drives the price ever downward, so the conversion is for more and more shares
