Oke, i get your point. I m just trying to share what I am hearing, as I have a lot of respect for your views and positions. i leave it to you/ this board to deabte/ believe/ disregard.

I trade/ short and go long on this share. I dont have love or hate for it. its just a vehicle to make money.

But i dont like senseless ramping and will fight it, and I dont like liabilities that can throw curve balls and separate me form money - moulding is such a curve ball, and i am not alone in this thought (ref T rowe selling out in less than 12 months, Blackrock, Softbank & Jup (albeit different circumstance, they sold low)

money to be made minus mould in the company

problem is HH, that moulding will likely do it again and likely crash the SP again.
he did it yesterday, he did it at the capital markets day, in each analyst update (the last one when giving advise on joining the LSE -what a lot of rambling BS), he did it with GQ.....
the guy is no longer an asset to THG but a liability, and from that perspective, it makes sense that options are explored to remove him

there are murmurings that moulding days are numbered. the gallemore demotion can be interpreted as the first step and a warning fired by the board and lord allen.
new board members are liekly to be announced - these are allen allies

potentially another activist buying as well.

thg is a good business (at its core business level). mould is a good entrepreneur, but he is one of the worst CEOs of a FTSE company there has been, and will end up paying for it with an ousting (if all goes to plan)

the rent would be split across the full group
its not 1% ebitda margin btw (have a look at Barclays analyst report for more on this)

i think to be fair to THG ingenuity, Vivek is onboarding a lot of partnerships (who would share revenue and costs) which will help reduce ingenuity capex going forward.

i can think of at least 3 SAAS partnerships signed since Vivek came onboard

the problem with THG is not it simply cannot/ will not hold a rise over a sustained time period. this in turn means people trade it rather than invest in it, which becomes a viscous circle.
THG management do nothing to help this with constant guidance misses, constant back tracking on promises (even when RNSed) and constantly hiding information (such as Matalan - one would assume any whales harpooned will be hidden).

this is then combined with a founder who simply cannot operate as a professional ceo.

in a nutsehll, this is why shorts do not panic, some are actually reloading on the rise, and marshall wace likely have no intention to reduce

not sure of they did the due diligence on how under the control of shorts THG is though. as that rise today has evaporated.
maybe they have a plan, but it is farcical their share price is up 50% when all they own is THG shares at 54p, with current THG share price soon to be back below 58p

if we go below 58p, bearish sign and would invalid recent rise. wont lose too much sleep on Kelso and their reasons - they are incredibly small.
thg biggest battle is to get to FCF positive, and to learn some manners when it comes to IR and updating the market and its shareholders

yes, unfortunately shorts have (somehow) got back control. doesnt help that most PI sell up on a few % increase as they have no real love for THG/ are stuck in this share due to volatility.

a lot of the banks have increased (most are small but the squid is just below 3%). they are likely lending out to shorts

in the meantime the 58p police have taken over from the 55p gang ..

yeah, respect him as entrepreneur, but now he needs to be given the boot. along with that gallemore. bring in professionals to unlock share holder value

I think its only fair Mould is booted out of this own company. since IPO he has never considered shareholders, his words and actions, and esp guidance have led to serious erosion, and the goverance he instilled was unacceptable.

yeah Iain Mcdonald 100% has to go. reckon he will be the last one removed before Allen delivers his next 2 appointees

first his right hand (gallemore) is basically demoted.
then activists are coming.

and GS has basically expired now as no one looks shorter than 6 months etc

if we fall below 55p, thats a very bearish sign, as todays update is clearly good news.
shorts have a strangle hold. news of a whale will move the needle otherwise wont be until sept and MY results

guess on closer inspection, news wasnt worth 8% jump, more like a point or two
