RE: I think we know where this is headed...27 Apr 2022 16:39
have to agree with that - investors cant and shouldnt have to tolerate swings like this moulding should have shared what the approaches value was to at least put a bottom in the share i think we all know its going to go under a quid now, dont we
ftse up and nasdaq up and thg heading towards testing 100 - seems the possible new bid rumours are now over very depressing and still do not know why they didnt share the numbers from previous bids....its not like they would ahve been near this depressed share price. board need to start giving back to shareholders
this John Henry nobber is also on advfn with the same crap - Johnny Harry laddo, all it takes is a PE bid It is a known fact you opened a short at 111 on THG, you are desperate
Very articulate points Mr B- that’s the problem with journos who pretend to cover the stock market They are simply not intelligent enough to understand the ins and outs of the financial markets so resort to name calling and sensationalism as we have seen aimed at mounding (esp his physical appearance) and the company
Agreed SP Esp true as we saw the shorts close after results - they know it’s a path back up now - either organically as the company deliver or take over
Let’s not speculate if we haven’t seen the article But it spiked and then shorts and their algos used up a lot of their shares to bring it down (so no matter what it cost them their share ammunition)- over 95% of the trades after it spiked to 110 were Automatic
So the market gives ingenuity. Zero value, but WPP are desperately trying to replicate it - clearly it has value Don’t see WPP pulling it off- they will have to outsource logistics which is key in d2c Fir be this just shows the market potential of d2c and thg have first mover advantage More confident than ever in thg
RE: Betaville article just out - new bid coming23 Apr 2022 08:09
Sorry but can’t agree with this at all 1/ boohoo has officially had no approaches - thg has as made formally in the FY results 2/ boo sells clothes - that is it and cheap clothes at that. Thg is in beauty/ nutrition and d2c - this makes it so much more attractive to PE 3/ Mm hates the public stock market - of course he would look to leave if he believes it is a better environment to grow thg for the future and I suppose it unlocks some element of share holder value - but he clearly has no loyalty to LSE 4/ numerous PE and multiple bids - they are not all going to go away like that. Negotiation is a dance and it takes a few steps to dance - as MM said himself let’s see what the next days weeks and months deliver 5/ if there is no bid, the safety net is we now know the ebitda absolute plan for 2022 (which market seems to have accepted) and we have premium listing and maybe some form of seperarion investment catalyst
RE: Next stop 107 and then 150p!!20 Apr 2022 16:27
Totally agree maestro Long term it’s a great play. My dig is at traders not Thg, which I am long and very heavily invested in Good luck to all tomorrow
