Nice research SP- my take out is separation project is firmly on track and happening (and given the ridiculous valuation the dinosaur drunks in the city have given THG as a group, makes total sense now to spin out each business until to realise value)

Then let’s hope
1/ SoftBank take option (upside to SP will be massive) - as long as ingenuity update in q1 is ahead of their agreement and hands length agreement with beauty and nutrition ok then it can be taken (knowing that their investment would only sit in this business until so it’s not like they are losing the money- the business they are invested in and get 20% has the 1bn+ cash in it)
2/ beauty has a PE lined up to take a minority share - at say 2-2.5x sales
3/ move to main market and golden share goes

Result being share price rockets

so annoying - that group was great with some class contributors

THG is a much better turn around play than asos- who have lost their entire senior exec team and have limited overseas presence

Really interesting re reading this article. It shows to be how even the brokers don’t know (or thg couldn’t explain) ingenuity. They saw ingenuity commerce revenue was 137m in 2020 But of course It isn’t - that’s the full ingenuity revenue not just commerce
Also nutrition at 5x Pe due to high margins which have now eroded due to whey prices
But I agree beauty and nutrition should be 2.5x earnings to be valued right so shows the market has lost all sense when valuing thg

Last year it was Tuesday 23rd March when they announced the date of results so could be announced tomorrow to be same timing in the year
