Sprite/Lalee, I will continue to post but not bombard unless others do. Remember new readers only read recent posts. As such i will continue to post reasons why I believe in the merger, for everyone to make their own informed decision. Furthermore i will continue to post new or updated opinions based on news flow and latest developments, for example yesterday's interview. What I will never do,or ever have done is post misleading or false news.

Why I'm voting yes:
1. BPC/CERP merger will result in access to capital markets due to market cap of combined business (eg, bond issuing, leveraging assets for loans vs share diluting CLNs for spuds now and in the future): refer to informative excellent Tony Hawkins interview 19/6/20.
2. Persv-1 drill is practically guaranteed to happen with or without JV farm in with Stena or other 3rd parties
3. Capex will be available to expand CERP acreages
4. If Persv-1 result inconclusive, we live to fight another day
5. The addition of Leo Koot to the BPC BoD will be excellent
6. There is stuff going on behind the scenes we are not aware of, which I believe will be disclosed over next few weeks before vote.
7. If you vote no and none of the above happens, there is a chance of a massive CLN will dilute everyone’s shares and if Persv-1 is a duster, it will not bode well for the future.

Recommendation 1: Don’t write negative comments about the merger or talk down BPC until you get more facts. (unless you have hidden agendas such as wishing to talk the price down to buy cheaply which I consider unethical and misleading). As far as I am concerned we have enough reasons already to vote yes: (a) the above and (b) the combined boards unanimously voted in favour.

Recommendation 2: If you are upset that the ROI will not be as high with the additional merged CERP shares, consider buying 25% more. ROI will be the same, with additional hedging by virtue of the summary above.

Gnomie, 75% vote from both companies's shareholders to pass the merger. Only those that vote in person at the EGM, or via proxy count as a yes or not vote. The merger is a great thing. I suggest you vote yes.

You must be a highly intelligent Bot, however clearly have a few screws or binary bits missing. I wish to bring to your attention the following:
1. I have never owned, directly or indirectly a CERP share in my life. As such why would I ramp or de-ramp CERP?
2. I have never posted any recommendation to buy or sell a CERP share in my life.
3. I only started posting on the LSE CERP forum approx. 1 week ago due the proposed BPC merger.
4. I note you automatically and cunningly analyse ‘sentiment’. Unfortunately, if I typed what I felt about you, I would be banned from this forum for life and likely end up in jail.
5. Do you have a bot lawyer? If not you better get one, as I’m considering suing your sorry little bot ar+e (bot bottom).

Lay, really appreciate your post however it's really heavy stuff for a Friday afternoon (evening where I live). I don't smoke 'exotic stuff' (and not suggesting you do), however I will review over weekend over a bottle of chateau de'casari 1961 slightly chilled even though a claret. Chesh, Merger is not an insurance policy. It's a hedge/leverage to drill in the Bahamas (could be huge) AND expand CERP acreage by tapping into capital markets. Unless we are merged (assuming a JV is not on the cards which could still be the case), it is a marriage made in heaven. If Bahamas drill does not result in the 770BBoe equivalent and 'only' 200bboe is found. It's still leverage to expand and do other drills in CERP and BPC acreage. If no oil found, the merged entity will have access to future prospectivity without it bankrupting us.

WIllec buddy, Harry and a few others are still miffed on BPC BB. They are upset you CERP folks are going to get hold of a percentage of Persv-1 on success. I suggest you ignore them. A lot more people on BPC forum are now seeing the 'light.' You should have seen what it was like earlier in the week, so best not to stir the hornets nest. A bit of TLC. It's really funny but I tried to get the pro merger BPC gang to do the same for you guys earlier this week, as some of you were at risk of aneurysms caused by rage.

i think CERP/BPC is a merger made in heaven.

Cuppy, I think you hit a hole in one with that comment. No further dilution or loans based CLNs. We will have access to capital markets (or JV) to spud perv-1 and expand/explore CERP acreage

CERP-84, one caveat to my earlier comment about previous BPC share price.....we hit 5.6p in February 2020. I wish we had used that for the CERP conversion ratio (!). However, it's great if the merger goes through even at the .803 price.

CERP: the reason BPC jumped was 2 RNSs: Uruguay license and most importantly getting Stena as drill partner and actually paying a deposit.

I've listened to the interview again. Firstly a disclaimer: I don't want to give the impression I am acting like a teenager, just got a letter from a girl (I think it was via pigeons in those day) and studying each word in detail to see if she fancies me.

interesting answer to the questions about Persv-1 (7m 55s). Funding...'can't discuss......but CERP board did due diligence!' This sounds very promising, possibly a JV.or farm-out. But that's just my opinion as I'm not a mind reader. If I was on the CERP BoD, it would have been one of the first questions i would have asked, 'dear BPC, thanks for the marriage offer, but please prove it can be funded without doing a share diluting mega CLN'
