Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Yes, you are correct SeaHawk - that is what DW said. After hearing him give his thoughts on the incentive scheme, and the sound governance used in drawing it up, I'm relaxed about it. I was happy with his reply to MM's direct questioning about it, and with conversations post-presentation.
As DW said, we all want a SP higher than it is just now so I see nothing wrong with a minimal dilution giving him additional motive to help drive the price up to my/your break-even point. There is no point in denying him the scheme when he is not solely to blame for the place in which we find ourselves. The reasons for that (HRZ) we learn are ill-understood just now, but are being worked on - the lack of input from PB on this is sad but has to be coped with.
And after all that, DW said he would not pack it in if the "incentivisation" was not approved- in fact, it would not make any difference to his efforts. Ok - perhaps we can claim at a shareholder meeting that 'he would say that, wouldn't he?' but he did seem pretty emphatic.
I will vote in favour.
As a long-retired medic I wish your health all the best jiddy- perhaps at an 88e meeting further down the line your own situation and the 88e SP will both be dramatically improved and we will all be drinking from glasses well over three-quarters full all round! All the best to you.

Succinct summary of the latest 88e venture - for those who would like an independent "catch-up" on this.
Bud's?? Do you mean Budding by any chance! ? Just enjoyed a pint of Budding with my roast lamb & rhubarb (home-grown) crumble Fathers' Day Sunday lunch prepared by my lovely wife of 52 years! Then permission to watch uninterrupted Germany and Brazil games later. May cheer me up a little after the depressing rugby yesterday. Oh... Budding you ask? Google it (and Stroud Brewery). ..... lawn mowers and all that!!! Best local brew in these parts by far. Sorry - all OT, but what the heck..... good times a-coming for 88e......... ....
Yes, manfrom- I've often wondered about that. If the folk at FB can see that in 48 hours, say, it's all going to come good then despite presumed communication difficulties in somewhere so remote it must be more than a little tempting to let family and best friends know - the ones who hold millions of shares? And also to sell when it's not loooking good at all?
Thanks for the links and the sensible chat this morning dear friends!! As a non oiler but investor here for over 3 years I continue to learn thanks to our "resident experts" who give up time and expertise to share info with the illiterati like me. Appreciation and respect +++ .
Coping with climate change on the North Slope - quite interesting. https://wamu.org/story/18/06/11/oil-industry-copes-with-climate-impacts-as-permafrost-thaws/
I do use charts for FTSE-100 type stocks but not much for "tiddlers" (!) like 88e, and I don't normally comment here. But we do have the most significant signal today on 88e, for quite some time. That is that the down-gap on April 30 has now been filled, mainly over the last 3 trading days and on very worthy up-volume. Bodes well indeed. I wouldn't mind in fact if there was a SP pause for a few days as this would strengthen the case for 2.8 becoming a strong resistance level for the future. I also recall that DW referred several times of "the Chinese" at the Globe meeting in February. In no particular 88e context I hasten to add other than as potential big-players in oil - several of us noted his comments at the time with a combined raising of eye-brows. Could mean nothing though, for sure.
