Hi KeithOz
Thank you for your reply
As you can see from my contributions to this forum I have been a long term holder of KAV and can still see the potential.
However I also must judge the potential against the actions or inactions of the board who are the ones who will ultimately make KAV a success or another failed AIM explorer.
Regarding my 2 points of dissatisfaction;
I still am still disappointed by the silence as if this was a clever strategy; the CEOs defence of the silence was a poor option for him to take.
Humility and a recommitment to informing shareholders may be a better path for him to walk going forward.
I have done som site ground investigation, not to the depths of which KAV are currently drilling but I know enough to make a semi informed opinion.
I do think missing the target this time was poor, I have no doubt they will hit it next time if They use the same site supervisor as he/they will know where to avoid.
It’s a true statement they now know better than ever where to aim the drill rig and the missed drill wasn’t a complete waste of time as no doubt the assays will help build a clearer picture but that doesn’t excuse the failure.
One thing that is important, the Ditau drill must hit the target. Even if the results aren’t spectacular, it would be reassuring for those of us who are looking or considering exiting the KAV ride to know the team on the ground are competent.
I have worked with a good mixture of ground investigation teams in the UK and they all have the same or similar qualifications and experiences yet half of them we never used again because they don’t understand the geology nor the mechanics of their own kit enough.
As a KAV investor I want to see the drill company we are using hit the target; it’s as simple as that.
It will give me confidence that the team we have on the ground are working in our best interest in tandem with KAVs geologists.
While the KSZ is no doubt a difficult drill to mobilise and carry out, we are not paying for a nice attempt we are paying to hit a target.
There is another junior miner who I won’t invest in because they use a certain sub contractor drilling company who I have no faith in.
Investors need the confidence the site team is on the ball otherwise all the other good work, surveys, reports, investor relations, etc is a total waste of time if the guys obtaining the evidence are not performing.
Do we have proof KAV have their own independent staff on site during the drilling?
