Low volume so far today. Still being pushed down by shorters. It tested below 1050 yesterday. They are still ruthlessly hungry for more. We may see sub £10 again. Experts at the game. It's the shorters who will decide the moment far more so than the H1 results and buyers, partly because there's no positive surprises expected. Either they will short it even more, or call the bottom & a buying frenzy will entail. At least 5 to 6 million shares to be bought back. Around 20x the daily buy volume. Whoosh! 💥

This is the best discussion board of all my holdings. Mainly for solid facts based on sound reasoning, research and attention to detail. Not ramping but wholly justifying a long term bullish stance. Coupled with the huge barrier to entry of new competitors, and the mess Ryanair is in with Boeing. Thanks to all contributors. I'm holding on with my recent stake at 1350 and looking to buy more depending on results. Don't mind missing the bottom. May fish a little there but for my own sanity will await H1 2026 results for a bigger punt.

Yeslam I'd say it's not the total % shorted so much as the direction of change. Continued manipulation by shorters will see the % increase. Yesterday I observed heavy persistent selling at new-ish lows 1055 & 1054

Hundreds sold in blocks rapidly. That's confidence speaking. KPIs. Bonuses. Egos.

So if the short % increases even near the 5 year low it means there's still confidence amongst shorters they can extract more profits in the absence of news and in a climate of heightened fear & risk.

Conversely we are also seeing short positions reducing. The risk and tension is increasing. Look how fast it bounced off 970.

I certainly have a feeling it will go below £10. That's when I will SWOOP 🤓

Feels like we are nearing the bottom. But for all I know the might of these focused institutions may well have a target of 800, 700......

Slowly but surely looking a little more positive. Buyers presumably returning as we get closer to the juicy dividend.

One possible positive outcome is a reduction in "copycat" shorting. Otherwise less transparency for companies about their own stock and for PIs

Not a huge reduction: 330,000 sold. Value estimated at £45k 🥜 It possibly helped me buy lower last week, I'm now holding 55,000 average 13.7p and optimistic going forward with FAB
