Agree no one knows. No use trying to ramp or decamp at this stage. Both are speculating on what if. Come back Anna! At least replied to IR emails.. and I've sent a few with zero response. Irresponsible from SOLG and NM

I dont mind the negative posts. They bring perspective to an overbearing bullish posts of the likes of Cookie who have amassed 3000 posts by just replying up and onwards. Negative posts with proper perspective however, unlike Rodney's posta which make no sense. NM has not delivered and that's the truth. Late on updates and f*king up CGP is the reason we are at these levels. This is severely undervalued and if NM can't take it back up we need a new CEO that can. This will be his last year to get this moving before he is outed IMHO. It will get taken over in 30s/40s by a number of suitors or he will get some sort of proper financing sorted which see this shoot back to 30s / 40s. Trade around a core position to make money here.

I think its ok to have alternative views on a board. But plucking a number without any math behind it or reasoning just makes said person to sound bitter and crazy. You'd have think having some pretty art work would bring him some zen.

So a 8.6m mkt cap producer with so far a 3.6m rev. What does everyone think the right multiple to apply here? To provide a valuation target?

Everyone was expecting a raise and weren't sure whether it was going to be at a discount or a premium. Well there was a raise and it was at a premium. We didn't need hundreds of millions. I think this is quite clever from NM. Now with RIO on board, it's pretty safe to say that should further investment be needed, RIO will dig deeper. Let's not forget that Newcrest will want to top up to now.
