I agree it's very strange spinks was supposed to be on the call by his own admission it now won't be until nearer the agm apparently. Which is not until 6rh may. So what is he avoiding?

I did wonder that delta, but I keep being told that is not the case by the posters "in the know". Although, there are constant disclaimers about maybe having to delay trading for the rto to complete, notes about how rto is progressing and notes about request to trading not being simple and straightforward. So I have to agree with you delta.

Hepran, I'm not part of tg. All I want is this to return to trading and for some reason which I cannot fathom, it has been delayed again. I have now listened to the call and I understand it was only operational even though ppp have no current operations. I would have thought after accounts published we would discuss return to trading. I don't think that's too much to ask. However, it the call states Spinks will do a call nearer agm to discuss corporate update. So looks like another 6 weeks with no clear explanation.

OK, found it Zag... Need AGM and some "other steps" before requesting return to trading...

Very strange how no explicit mention that agm is required and still not sure what the other steps are... So looks like mid may at earliest. That's 6 weeks away.

Pennpetro Energy plc, the company focused on developing strategic traditional and transition energy projects, outlines an update following a shareholder call on the 10th February.

Update on audit of 24/25 accounts

As previously announced the Company's auditors have confirmed to the Company the anticipated completion of the audit for 2024/25 accounts by the 20th February 2026. At this point the Company will review the audit and will then be in a position to publish the accounts, and call the relevant Annual General Meeting.

Timeline for requesting a return to trading

Following the publication of the accounts for 2024/25 along with a series of other steps required by the Company, a request will be made to the London Stock Exchange for PPP shares to return to trading on the Exchange. At the point of application, the Company will publish an updated timeline to give shareholders a better understanding of the actions required and potential timelines. Should the Company progress with the proposed Reverse Take Over (RTO) as previously announced, this may preclude the Company from returning to trading until the RTO process concludes.

So if everyone who has been on the calls knows we are waitinf until after 6th May to request a return to trading, you have all kept that very quiet.

Zag, I can't find where they have explicitly stated in the recent rns that the agm is needed before returning to trading? I know they stated in a previous rns before they published the accounts. However, in the accounts published on 20th I don't think they stated they needed agm? I thought they said it was interims, then they would apply. So has this been discussed on the call, are we waiting until after 6th May?

You guys are going to be sorely disappointed imo. Simply being strung along with narratives. There will probably be an AGM now where everyone will feel forced to vote yes to everything. Literally playbook.

No muldoon, that's my point. Apparently ppp are not yet ready to request a return to trading. They seem to have shifted the narrative again since the 20th March. I think they will need an AGM and maybe even a vote on the rto.

And this time they haven't even given any kind of hint what needs to be done or how long it might take before they apply to return to trading. Not acceptable.
