Conger, do you mean a placing before the refrac? If they truly believe the refrac will be successful then surely they will do the placing after the refrac and JV to ensure maximum raising. I cannot see the point in doing a placing before the refrac?
I've decided to get rid of the large top up I made last week. Still have my core holding. It seems the momentum as fizzled today. With the current mood, the RNS's this week will definitely be sold into. So yes, I think those saying the SP will languish until refrac results could well be right. Shame but what's another 6 months...
Will there be excitement about flow rates? I was under the impression we were not expecting anything but modest rates? (As stated by Roland in the interview on Friday).
Do you think Roland will give any information regarding the chances of a successful refrac? I don't think I have heard/seen any figures apart from those posted by Oilman?
I don't think it's doubt about refrac being factored in necessarily. I'm sure many investors are more cautious as so many have lost money recently on covid stocks etc. I think the pumping and dumping on this stock also puts people off and makes this stock seem like hot air when actually it has potential. Hopefully, we will be able to attract more longer term investors now and see a steady rise rather than spikes and drops.
Yes, agree traders are causing the volatility. Figures would be welcome but that will take time. Happy to wait. I don't see the point in selling and hoping to get back in cheaper as Roland did state a flow of news in the coming weeks.
Gordon, do you really believe it should be under .3, as compared to past performance, based on all the news we have had? I certainly don't. It's a joke. Happy to keep building my holding though. Requires patience.
Yes toptuf, not much is ever 100% certain. I am very interested in the CCS stuff though. I really think that is the key part of their strategy now so as you say, holding for a few years could work very well. Climate will remain top of agenda.
Announcement due on refrac next week. They have a supplier now for July for c 77 well, despite the global shortage of equipment. According to Roland "Very important milestone to prove up thesis for full field development". This thesis will be the evidence required to attract a joint venture partner with up to 50% to help develop the close to 1 tcf of the field. 30 to 45 days for refrac impact to be apparent. Anticipating a reasonable increase in activity due to refrac.
I'm assuming the refrac being successful is plan A for OEX and they predict a high level of probability this will happen, as otherwise why would they have persisted for so long with Cambay. They must think the reward will be worth the pain.
I believe there will definitely be progress now, all the background work has been done. Not sure about 2p tbh but I reckon .5 is achievable before refrac. If the refrac is wildly successful then over 1p it is...

This is in addition to the interview later not instead of. Very pleased to see the company making an effort to reach investors. Can definitely see how a new leaf has been turned with new CEO.
