Silly overreaction to a few months delay on the DFS. Perhaps the additional items added to the DFS will make SVMLs project even more valuable. I added more this morning and will continue to add when I can.

Sounds like a fair analysis. Svml would have to be happy with any such bid and could refuse any approach from Chinalco I imagine. I believe the fact that SVML mentioned in the next steps this: the company will continue to update stakeholders regarding progress including active discussions with the US based and allied nation offtakers of rutile and graphite, this will make it unlikely that Chinalco would be the only bidder for SVML. I think the US /Japan will want control and might try to do this via a bid or alternatively with assistance in someway to SVML if it seeks a loan and chooses to develop the resources itself. I may be way off the mark just thinking about possibilities . Regards

Morning AK. Yes a little bit if patience is required. End of Q12026 is only 5 months so we can expect DFS completion 3-5 months. I think Sivereign will go it alone and I think the extra time is just to iron out loans, i believe that the Government of Malawi probably prefer to work directly with Sovereign rather than a major miner moving in and taking over. It is better for the optics. I also believe the MRE was probably delayed not because the number is not available but because of loan discussions and also to leave a bit of time between the recent presidential mining decree (which does not impact SVML) and its announcement. I rate this as a very strong buy and will be adding as those who are impatient off-load. Remenber “ US and its Allies”.

I think the section in the report - next steps are an indication that Sovereign is looking to go it alone unless a very good buyout offer is received. Pay close attention to where it mentions US and its allies. This is a clear indication of where discussions are going. Things will get very interesting in the next 3-6 months.

Various new workstreams are being adopted into the DFS, with completion expected in the first quarter of 2026. These include enhanced focus on plant design and configuration, and environmental and social impact workstreams. These workstreams have been included in the DFS work program to ensure it meets many of the requirements of potential future lenders, including development finance institutions, export credit agencies and potential future offtakers.

The Company will continue to update stakeholders regarding progress, including:

· Mineral Resource update;

· active discussions with US-based and "allied-nation" offtakers of rutile and graphite;

· environmental and social impact assessments; and

· infrastructure and logistics planning.

You could argue that this brings clarity. SVML will be processing and refning the Rutike and Graphite to bring it to a sellable form. The Government of Malawi will want the revenue that the SVMl project will bring. It will want the inward investment from the Japanese. What they dont want is smuggling of diamonds , uranium et cetera . I am sure SVML has been made aware of the guidelines in advance given its good relations with the authorities. I agree though an RNS from the company is not a bad idea. I am sure we will get an update soon.
