US defence I would guess to be around a half of total RR defence revenue but we never know what Trump is going to dream up next..one minute it's no buy backs and cap executive pay next it's increase the department of defence (sorry war) budget to $1.5 trillion. As Peakdread says Defence projects are long term..we won't be seeing production of say b52 or FLRAA until the early 2030's so Trumps whitterings today aren't going to affect RR's medium to long term prospects. Strong Civil numbers and the insatiable demand for Power Systems products due to European and RoW defence spending not US are going to show up in the 26th Feb..I think the numbers are going to be knockout

The EJ200 engine is produced by a consortium Inc avio, MTU, ITP and RR...we would have a small % in terms of input and if it did take off would be many years before production started.

Nothing to do with oil and gas jobs Tim Smith I've already explained that due to the laws of thermodynamics you can't make hydrogen from water without more power used one end than you get out the other. You can literally make petrol from water and air but it takes fantastic amounts of energy to do so and you might have noticed our energy prices are pretty high if not amongst the highest in the world..sorry to shatter your illusion.

I mentioned a couple of my investments to a couple of my close friends..HEMO and PREM...thank God they didn't invest in either. taught me a lesson I'd have been mortified if they'd invested and ended up down (which in the case of PREM would have been c. 99%)..never ever even mention investments with friends and family that way a clear conscience that it's only your money you've lost. There is no recovery in JLP in the short term, they're on the cusp of selling the most profitable part of the business for less than 1 years' worth of pgm revenue...'when the facts change, I change my mind' JLP need to renegotiate this silly deal to sell the chrome and pgm activities

Hi Tim, extracting hydrogen from water uses more energy than the resultant hydrogen gained ...laws of thermodynamics . Yes, if you could get very cheap power you could make unlimited hydrogen but we aren't there not by any means.

We literally don't have any cash and no way of raising cash...we don't have product to sell and we have a knackered plant

More abject incompetent in Prems case than corrupt Paulb but 'most' AIM companies have one absolutely nailed on priority in common, that is paying themselves by diluting shareholders...director fees call them what you will...nothing is going to save Prem now who is going to lend them the millions needed to fix the plant and get it going?

I read movable assets profit bags not the plant itself but it's kind of immaterial, Prem need millions to pay debts, pay unpaid wages, pay for plant upgrades, pay for diesel, pay for running costs pay themselves the list is endless.

I presume by movable equipment it means all heavy plant i.e. wheel loaders and dump trucks gen sets etc

Agreed JDS . Most of the shorter term benefit of increased European defence spending to RR will show up in Power Systems..every Loepard tank has an MTU engine in and a lot of the IFV's too. add to that the absolutely insatiable demand for power generation we're going too see incredible results from RR Power Systems come Feb 26...they must be at or near capacity and hopefully they're having to use engine pricing as a rationing device..
