Well I was partially right in one sense...25 barrels of oil per day from 01st Nov so it did take 6 weeks' worth of production to be able to RNS a figure.

I'm delighted to have been proven wrong. so do I read 25 barrels of oil per day at $70 per barrel and 150,000 scf gas so total $1.1m on revenue divide by 2 = $565k incremental to Syn?

Golly, that beats me..2 years late on a lithium mine is my record but 18 months late on a cancer drug comes a close second. They all have their own sorry tales to be honest..the strategy I employed was to put in a small amount every month but it soon went out of the window so larger investments are now trapped in all of them if I needed to get out now with mighty losses relatively speaking if I had to sell. Syn are the ones looking like the biggest chance of a multibag

Further, I can 100% guarantee that certainly all (my) AIM shares have projects delayed to one degree or another some literally 2 years late so just have to accept the nature of AIM stocks..glacial progress at times but at least SYN have someone else footing the bill who hopefully know what they're doing.

That's what I was thinking CP...effectively a 2 week window over Xmas and New Year where progress will still be being made and every day another $50k average spent by Selan on improving the wells is how I see it...the longer we have to wait for an RNS the more information will be published when one does materialise...releasing an RNS on progress too early on unsubstantiated data won't be good for anyone, just going to have to sit tight.

I don't think we will sorry to say Sausage. they will have to study the c63 and c70 output rates over a period of time and I'm thinking this is more likely to be weeks rather than days. that said the staff will redeploy to other wells putting them in wip as results are gathered

I don't think we will having thought about it..if indeed c63 and c70 are predominantly condensate, it's hard to see them declaring production rates of X and Y barrels per day thus side of Xmas as surely, once the works are complete, there's going to be some kind of debugging required for want of a better term..get rid of debris, water and then study condensate production over a number of days...they can't just open the taps and use day one's output and RNS that figure surely? I'm thinking weeks rather than days..end Jan maybe? I honestly hope I'm wrong here and would love to see an RNS tomorrow but I'm preparing myself for a bit of a wait. C63 and c70 are just oil so if you smell gas best not to inspect with naked flame

Me too IITK..I've been paying close attention to uk power generation over the last few days and wind power has dropped to around 2 to 3 Gw so around 5% of generation. Miliband is going 'all in' on wind power which is fine if it's windy....the trouble is it isn't at the moment so it doesn't matter how many wind farms you have. Part of me hopes for a cold, windless winter to show the folly of trying to decarbonise with just one power source...the rest if me realises the problems thst would cause with power cuts and people freezing I'm just trying to say we need a balance including clean baseload power I.e. nuclear

I know 2/3rd's of Foxtrot Alpha about oil and gas wells but is the long steel tube the (extracted) c63 well bore for clean out in preparation for reinstallation for the reperforation I wonder?

Yes, I think something next week too....£41k buy to your point sausage, a spate of pics on twitter and remember, Selan are investing over $1m per month in the program. The preprioty work undertaken in October and Nov is now complete and we have boots and kit on the ground on at least two wells and actual work progressing. This $1m per month (average over the 18 months) is the real gamechanger for me...previously a million or so a year was the max investment figure...exciting times and if nothing this side of Xmas them a bumper RNS in Jan will suffice

Nice find LexyLou, this suggests c70 and c63 are being worked in parallel. Hopefully an RNS soon (Monday would be nice!) confirming progress.

£41k is a lot of anyone's money...my guess is a PI who has flipped from one AIM stock to another. Maybe activity during today and tomorrow might give us some clues. Can we rule out an insider trade? insiders have to declare transactions but again, it's a fantastic amount of money in one transaction in one microcap...
