So basically, they are arguing that a vaccine led main street recovery is bad for markets because it would halt further stimulus. The bottom line here is you need to be in stocks that benefit from a DOMESTIC UK recovery.

Assumptions -
1. UK vaccine rollout successful (% coverage)
2. UK vaccine is effective
3. UK back to normal by Summer 2021
4. Rest of World vaccine roll out is much slower
5. Rest of World barely back to normal in 2021

I can see a scenario where stocks deriving revenue from the UK do very well in 2021. This is not the same as UK stocks. FTSE 100 is mainly global revenue and may not outperform. FTSE 350 is mainly UK revenue and will outperform.

The stimulus question and inflation is the hard part. Keep in mind people on the internet have been calling for wiemar style inflation since 2006 or earlier, it just hasnt happened yet. The Fed, US administration, BoE, and Rishi need to be watched closely.
