Looks like I'm living rent free in your head as well. Who is Leo
I'm not going to big note myself. My strategy for speculation is as follows:
The shares I like are those that have been mispriced by the market due to a fixable problem. The problem could be caused by a supply issue, public panic, macro issue, pandemic etc. I then speculate based on an upcoming transformative catalyst. I want my bet to be asymmetric in risk reward - downside is small and upside is big. I sell when my thesis has played out and do not return to that stock. I am long only.
Ireland is a pipedream. Trinidad has limited upside and appears to have stalled. I am ignoring both for this trade.
My motivation here is to try to understand the next big catalyst - mou-4. The potential upside is clear, but what is the downside in case of failure and what is the likelihood of commercial success (I do not call simply drilling to 1400m a success). All my research is around these two questions.
If my efforts help others that is a good thing but ultimately I don't mind what others do, it is up to them.
