I am a new investor and have been caught out a bit here. I wasn't expecting a sudden 10% drop.
I wonder if there is a problem with the JV.

I understand that KS may well be bound by an NDA and very much hope this is the case.

BMo3 The reason I am disappointed is that KS's response particularly specified R & D news due. To be honest this is not what the market is really waiting for. The last RNS relating to a patent for a monoclonal antibody was not well received by the market as far as the SP was concerned. I find the delay in any news re the main LSE listing or any commercial interest in JVs or manufacture/ trials or Stemprinter separation is damaging and none of these are covered by the description of R & D specified by KS. As you say this is the 'raison d'etre' of the company.

Unfortunately as many of us feared the rise today seems to have been mostly nullified by the damn Yanks.

I must say this BB is much more polite, positive and a happier place than ADVFN which I just looked at.. I don't think I'll bother again.

I think you are right. I have looked on those sites that offer margin trading and they say that somewhere between 70 and 80% of people lose money. Aim isn't that much different. Particularly with miners. I'll bet that most PIs lose money. We have been very fortunate with GGP. Hitting on one of the 1% good ones. Even when I spiked myself at 15.7p the SP recovered.
Of course we latecomers all wish we had put more money in at a lower start price. This definitely isn't transformational for me but very welcome. Many thanks to the serious posters here.

I am just a little disappointed that the CEO only mentioned R&D plans. I must say that although he was acting in a very commercial manner prior to the fund raise and placing he hasn't had much interest in the share price since then. Perhaps not surprising since he seems very focused on the science, patents and inventions rather than commercialising the science and products the company already has.

The rise today is very welcome but likely to have cold water poured on it by the US in the next few hours. I am concerned it is not a big enough change to stick. I hope I am wrong since my red numbers would get smaller if the SP reverses its decline.

Can you believe it? I again heard some Professor on BBC tonight talking about 'least worst option'. I think that is the opposite of 'most best' and just as nonsensical as 'least best' or 'most worst'. Surely these people were taught English at school and would know that you can't use two superlatives together describing the same object. You can of course say 'least bad option'

I don't really understand the intent of the Guardian comment on ODX test. As I understand it, the only way your can check a test is to test it against a known base. I f the datum test used by Oxford was not the best datum to use then that is a problem. However not having a datum to compare against would give unintelligible results. I note John Deeks did not state what test should have been used as the datum. If the people who thought they may have been infected but were deemed negative by the datum test had then been tested as a separate group by Abingdon ODX test, what information would have been gained by the figures? One or more people where antibodies had been detected by the ODX test may either be showing a false negative by the datum test or perhaps a low level of antibodies below that which was detectable by the datum test. I don't think these results could have usefully contributed any more.

Presumably the idea is not to find out whether a person has been infected but whether they have produced antibodies in sufficient strength to prevent reinfection. Since we don't know what level that is,one could argue that at present antibody tests are not worth using despite the fact that there are many on the market. I think that is the current position of the government.

I think you are right in your analysis. The main benefit of the results of the COPD trails will be reinforcement of the safety of SNG001. The share price is definitely currently more Covid weighted. An accelerated authorisation will surely only be in respect of Covid treatment and I have assumed probably in conjunction with parallel Phase 3 trials in the US. The share price has been very stable since the big rise , completely different to most Covid SPs including TILS in particular.

I am hoping that a hugely valuable liaison with a US pharma will be announced shortly and well before the results of the home trials are available. I think we are still awaiting the peer review and I would expect that would be published before any final agreement for a deal was signed but I'm not sure about this.

I reckon that the COPD phase 2 will lead onto phase 3 in due course but take something of a back seat at present due to the massive urgency of Covid related treatment.

Just my thoughts and I don't profess to be any kind of expert but still very happy to have this as my largest holding.

I agree it wasn't very bright selling but it was only a couple of thousand shares. I am still happy paying £2. I think this will be a very valuable company in the future. Anyway my average is 150p so all is fine.

I have just noticed Integumen has jumped today to a year high. Related to Avacta's sentiment?

By the way I just paid £199.8 to replace the shares I stupidly sold last night at 181.

jh. - Are you meaning that Stem Printer may be sold before the new company actually starts trading? If so it would be TILS that distributes the dividend. If after the split then Accustem would be sold and all the shareholders would receive the proceeds. I suppose either is possible.
I am not sure why you dispute my attempt at logic. There has been a lot of discussion on this board about the hidden value of StemPrinter and I have seen figures of £100m to £1bn in print. Surely any investor particularly including the IIs would be taking this into account when purchasing TILS shares?

I don't dispute what you say, I'm just not sure why if there will be a big increase in demand and therefore SP rise before the cut off date and everyone seems to think there will be, the share price has dropped this far. The second point is that on the split I would have expected the share price of Accustem plus TILS to equal the share price of TILS at the cut off date, ie the TILS share price will reduce between record date and start of Accustem trading very sharply and presumably the share price of Accustem will also find its own level, with the help of MMs pretty quickly.
Am I right in thinking the BoD has not given any indication of which stock exchange will list the new shares?

I am a long term shareholder with rather too much of my investment funds in this share due to averaging down from a peak buy at 260. I believe the company has some fantastic potential.
This question is not therefore intended to be a de-ramp.

I am intrigued why a number of posters are of the opinion that the proposed split of Stemprinter from TILS will automatically bring a bonus to current TILS shareholders. I understand that the CEO has promised that there will be a 1:1 free share issue to all existing TILS shareholders. All rights, patents and IP and any other value attributable to Stemprinter are presumably held by TILS at present. Therefore logic seems to require that the current share price fully reflects such value. If there will be additional value to be gained by the split , the decision to split and separately list has been already stated clearly by the Board and the present value of this future move is incorporated in the SP now. This would surely be true irrespective of whether or not the BoD have attributed any goodwill value in the accounts to such rights held. If I am wrong can somebody please explain why?

Also do we know whether the Accustem listing will be on the main market, Nasdaq or Aim or more than one?

This is a genuine question and I would be grateful if those more knowledgeable than me could assist.

Re my post 2 below I meant to say that my buy limit was 149p and this was the price traded this morning at 10.22 am. At least it has brought my average down to 190 ish.

HL now 156 buy 153 sell on dummy but 'live price' quoted at 150 buy 145 sell. The algorithm is up't creek.
Well at least there is a bounce!

I put a limit buy in for 2000 shares last night and see it was exercised this morning. HL quoted 148.9 to sell at about 11.00 am but NT to buy until just now at 1.56 even though the live price was still quoting 145-150. Very odd!

I was told that a friend of a friend went to the chemist today and paid £80 for this pinprick blood test.

They were told that they had definitely had Covid and should be protected by antibodies from re-infection. The company's website states it is a test for current infection but further reading the blurb it seems quite confused. Possibly why the government haven't expressed interest.
Does anyone know anything about it?

Thanks MrNinja and Nolupus. I agree we will probably get a bounce tomorrow but we have had that on quite a few days. Any bounce in the UK seems to be overcome by the US by close.
I am interested that some are trying to make contact with the Company but they can't really say anything new or that might be price sensitive without RNS. I also think we can't actually blame them directly for the share price fluctuations since no-one would have foreseen everything that has transpired, probably particularly the US confusion with both TSLA and the ADS rate change which increased volatility. It would be reasonable to expect a SP pull back on placing however.

The confusion and delay over the Bermuda relocation, the cancellation of Aim listing and the now proposed Main Market listing, the private placing, the ATM share sales together with the proposed separation of StemPrinter into Accustem, (Where will that be listed?) all add to uncertainty and concern that the BoD have so many spinning plates that the level of control may not quite what we would hope.

These comments could be applied to the governments current plight as well of course.
