Our live Investing Matters Podcast Special which took place at the Master Investor Show discussing 'How undervalued is the UK stock market?', has just been released. Listen here.
This has been seriously kicked and mauled over the last week. Probably a good time to add or get in as quite a lot of news to come which should be positive.... Just a bit cheesed off at the way they have gone about things
I bought my first shares in TW at 19p. Many have forgatten the 2007/2008 meltdown..Every one was nerveous. This board was a fun place to be and the share price meant there was planty of dialogue. Sadly I got out at 28p. The reason was an incident in Holyhead where CM was killed by a cross bow bolt. Google it!! He was a real character and we stayed with him at his house on the cliffs. It taught me that predicting the future is a very difficult passtime. Time has moved on and a lot of the fun has gone out of investing. I would not be looking at builders at present with interest rates where they are. Then again once markets have returned to worry and fear..
Thanks for that WW. I shall have a look at it. I no longer post on TW or really follow it closely. I used to hold a lot of stock but sold out when Churchmouse who was a regular poster died. There were quite a lot of fun people all heavily into the building trade. They are building 370 new houses up the road from me. All with gas boilers and not a solar panel in sight. There are a few affordable houses but seems like a joke. For locals they are no where near affordable. The rest being 3 - and 5 bedroom would not be out of place in the London area. Now it appears the developer has run out of cash and popped off so who knows the future. I am steering well clear of builders as at present. To make matters worse the local school is in a Fraacing muddle too.....
174 trades and they are not all sells. The SP drops 21.95 per cent. If there has been a leak and the update is lack lustre
there needs to be questions asked as to how....I do not think there probably has been but instead traders and shareholders caught in the panic have made it worse... We will see.. 30 minutes and the die will be cast...
Its all too easy to talk oneself into panic and flap. Some are seling and forcing the drop only to find the buying window is getting better. If the update is good then trying to join the rush to get in will be impossible.... I am going to have a siesta this PM..
I am just sitting totally glazed over. Wondering whether to invest in hay. They will need a lot of it for the horses as they pull the stagecoaches between Brum and Manchester. My three year old grandson builds better with Brio..
