I you manage to make it to 97 then almost certainly along the way you will require some renewables....I went into a huge new fuel station yesterday on the A14. As I drove home I thought just how many service stations will soon start to look like the old ones I used to pass on the A1. Boarded up and awaiting demolition. There have been no holding rns since October. I have live trading and all the buys and sells are small. Tomorrow they pay the dividend and hopefully it will prove to be the beginning of the expected rise. Just shows the broker recommendations are useless. I rarely bother with them as a rule.

I take a daily interest in wind strength. I live less than 150 metres from the sea and have a boat with flappy things. April has proved very windy here and almost entirely from the NE. Today it is about F3 from the N. Wind is much more reliable than solar during the winter but for reliability batteries are needed for back up. There is also a win win with hydro if you use the days when excess power is generated. I have been in this share a long time and happy with its performance

Over the last 30 years China has been supplying the western world with cheap imports. The dollars in particular has then been quietly invested in US treasury bonds which earn them even more dollars. Trump seeks a fight but over looks the

bonds and now suddenly realises China holds ALL the cards. If China dumps them (And they could} even bunches of bananas won't save him. I do not think China will wipe him out. It is in their nature to just slowly acquire it for a song... Look at the Cook Islands debacle .... For a short while enjoy the moment and then put on your tin hat again...
