Our live Investing Matters Podcast Special which took place at the Master Investor Show discussing 'How undervalued is the UK stock market?', has just been released. Listen here.
It was a 1938 Kaloo road roller in full working order. Within minutes I would look like Fred Dibnah. The only problem is I know less about driving a steam roller than investing in shares!! I would of course park it for a couple of hours outside romaron's ...I would also provide cups of tea to destitute share investors...
I think this weekend is going to prove crucial. I think they will have to continue to make changes and the EPL will quietly be done away with. They are fighting fires on everyside and this winter is going to prove a major challenge. I looked on the internet for a traction engine and found a road roller 1938 for sale. for 45k. I thought it woild be good fun to drive it around London paying the 12.50 a day and burning good quality Welsh coal. Few bags of bitumen and one could argue you were filling potholes...
I have turned into Mr Angry. The way the politicians have massacred the NS is a disgrace. I have no confidence in any of them. This morning I listened to people talking about stopping small boats. The word Canute springs to mind. Years ago my Sociology lecturer said two truths which never change are ' The ultimate power comes from the barrel of a gun' and 'Multicultralism will never work'. Over the years I have realised just how correct he was. I know the planets climate is changing but reducing the ammount of CO2 emmissions cannot be achieved overnight. Energy on our doorstep must be better than shipping it half way around the world... Rant over
I get that every morning from Mme Spin. Currently trying buy a train ticket to London. Problem is there could be a rail replacement service on the day she wants to travel. Always possibility of a strike. Could take the car but there are miles of road works and last week it took 2 hours longer. I have tried to be of assistance. Told her to run into the local skool and bang a drum. When bits on concrete fall on her call one of the ambulances which has not broken down a bloo light it to the hospital. Wave to the doctors and nurses waving placards on the gate and join the queue of dying peeps in the A @E...Whilst in the ambulance hurtling down the road also make sure you have a crash helmet in case it falls into a pot hole...
The shower of manure in Westminster have succeeded in yet another master stroke of incompetance. Keep singing that song ' Things can only get better' but they do not. Note the fuel has gone up 15p a litre this week. Lorries avergage 6 miles to the gallon so watch the effect that has on soupa markets. Tesco may have to invest in body armour to go with their body cams.
It was released last year on the 8th September but I wonder if it will be delayed. This share is about to turn the corner and
could prove exciting over the next 18 months... Some of the sells shown are buys too...
