I stopped investing in early December because I can see no reason to do so. There is simply no joined up thinking across many areas of necessity. Very few where I live can afford to buy food let alone an air plane ticket so why do we need a third runway at Heathrow when Doncaster would make more sense. My car got broken into and the cctv was not of good enough quality. Fortunately they were caught after hitting double figures of thefts. Both had a considerable number of previous convictions but they were let out on bail and have strangely disappeared off the planet. It seems you can build all over the green belt but a solar farm is a blot on the landscape. Shoplifting is meteoric yet this morning our our local police force is considering redundancies. I am well up on benefits too. Why is PIP un means tested. When was a Ford Mustang a mobility car!! No I will no longer invest in infrastructure, green energy or retail. Those shares in them I have I will keep. For me the future is logitics and wacky baccy. All you need is a leccy bike and a mobile pay as you go!!

Been in this for about 4 years. Even after the dividends I am down the pan so just habe to hope the sun will come out tomorrow. Mind you we have the orange man now .....

Seems there is to be too much tonight and tmmr. I think the general market knows not what to do at the moment. The budget was not very inspiring and the orange man has sent some in to hiding. Been in this for over four years. Take the divi in cash mostly and although a few in shares and overall I am content to let the dust settle. Should be a divi announced very shortly. I hope!!

I think this has the potential to mature ..Been in this for many years and it has failed miserably but begin to think it may come good if the it is left for a few years..

Glad you are still standing. This share is proving an extra long term hold. I have been in it for yonks!! If I could see a profit I could lose it all again in an oil company... Such is life.

I heard a couple of days ago that the huge containerships coming into Felixstowe run their generators instead of shore power because the electricity is too expensive. As a result the locals are all suffering from respiratory complaints. If this is true it is another example of profit before people. I hope the posters here have a good new year. Reading their posts is always fun. It is a good board.... even romaron keeps me amused....

Where I live they are finding the answer to an affordable house. Yep it is called a van!! Up the road they built 59 houses. When they were completed them none could be sold so they reduced them by 50k. Still they could not sell them. Then the builder popped off.... Seems they may be going for rent soon. Little chance of because vans are cheaper!!
