I do not hold shares in First but have held a large holding in another bus company. I worked in bus transport for about twelve years and during which time it was widely promoted by the government and councils. The rural bus fund came went and was squandered. The industry was dreadfully slow in con tactless fare charging. There was no integrated ticketing in where I was no county wide plan. It was a free for all and now thankfully I am out of the fiasco. I remain current and up to date though as I am now involved in home to school or not as the case is at present.
he government is actively telling people to avoid public transport. Thousands have found they can now work from home and shop on line with no need to visit a town centre. Even the next series of Portillo will probably find him riding a bicycle but certainly not a train methinks. The government says they want to promote green so buy and electric car or bicycle because buses are history without a vaccine..

Perhaps a statue in the centre of Leicester would help... Heard the MCA are involved in the investigation. No stone will be left unturned.

In the last few weeks the beach has been very interesting. It is only about a 100 metres away!! Today though just a few brave dog walkers...Madam Spin fancies a kayak!! I think that is what she said. It seems I will be able to fly to Spain and sit on the beach sipping Sangria but I cannot tour Scotland and sleep in a tent. I can drive to the South coast and sit on a crowded beach but cannot drive even 5 miles into Wales to walk in a national park. On Saturday I can sit at the bar and Madam Spin can sit at the other end (Distancing) and the bar person (note the PC) can pass the virus between us!! Taking the bus into toon is not advisable but my dirty diesel old banger is totally welcome ... So much for joined up Britain.. Good job the diesel is now so cheep!!

I have been watching everything recently as moved over to day trading...I have one share i have bought and sold the same shares 7 times in 10 days!! Even traded the bank on Monday!! May put my feet up for a while though as the vessel is ready to put to sea... Sadly I am not. I just end up dozing in the bunk!! This year I have been so lazy I employed artisans to do all the work getting it ready!!

These are interesting times as long as you live long enough to witness them!! I seriously cannot understand people who are literally dying to go on their hols..
