one possible scenario, in my admittedly rather cynical view: a “short
pause” while amit phones round those remaining names on his suckers
list, touting what that supposed sale price will be, telling them they’ve
only got a v limited window of time remaining [- buy now while stocks
last, is a special price only for you, my friends! -] in which to give him
yet more of their money to top up their shareholdings before [cough]
there is a fabulous [?beneficial?] payout to all the lucky shareholders.
or alternatively, amit is as honest and reliable as the day is long, & ctag
owns valuable intellectual property / licenses etc which will finally be
sold for a fair but high price, making shareholders happy and wealthy.
? which scenario seems more likely, given the history here?
