If sturf is a genuine poster (… rather than someone softening up the board ready for a ‘just giving’ appeal…), i would suggest sturf should be mindful that holding onto shares in publicly listed companies can in some circumstances be a bar to claiming/receiving certain kinds of benefit / state support for people who are homeless / claiming to be in serious financial distress. some years ago a friend of mine who had fallen on very hard times got themselves into additional serious bother by not declaring some small shareholdings they still had, whilst trying to claim certain kinds of support from the state. the state will often expect that people owning shares or similar financial assets should be liquidating those and using the proceeds to help support themselves prior to making claims on the public purse. organisations such as CAB & shelter can give helpful and up to date advice about such issues.

[i am *not* seeking to condone UK govt position on such matters, just noting that’s how the current benefit & social housing operates. i don’t know if different provisions / thresholds apply in scotland.]

TC, i don’t think there will be an EUA share price by the end of 2024.

2023 was fine from my personal perspective, BoB, tho’ i feel sad about the nasty geopolitics affecting so many millions currently.

from your ‘adam’ reference, it looks like you still [wrongly] believe that i am something to do with jub capital - does that false notion comfort you in some way, as we wait for EUA to drift into insolvency? (3-6 months would be my current guess, but +/- 3 months either way would not surprise me.)

One would usually hope that a responsible director would not -

(A) pay a company like ACF to produce an *outrageously* bad ( i.e. wildly, ludicrously over-optimistic) set of forecasts about EUA’s revenues and profits

(B) raise 45 million in placings, but then fail to explain where all the money has disappeared to

(C) fail to publish detailed update about drilling results, & fail to publish DFS results

(D) fail to sell a concentrate pile, even when company is almost entirely out of cash, and fail to explain why they haven’t managed to sell it

(E) fail to tell shareholders that the company was embroiled in litigation

(F) get into a WUP / court argument with its own lawyers about a small bill in the first place

(G) put out an RNS in april 2023 which talked about powerline/dragline projects improving mining operations in 2023, and then only admit to the market in november that there have been *NO* mining operations at all in 2023

(H) fail to explain exactly what assets the company has been trying to sell for years, and what kind of bids / offers, if any, have actually been received for them.

Remaining comfortably long into 2024, but expecting H2 may be better sailing than H1.

End of the year, EUA was a pathetic damp squib. 2024 not looking much better imv.

the most vocal, and frequent predictor that an EUA asset sale would definitely happen, absolutely nailed on, by xmas, was of course dimitryreacts. …way wrong, of course.

like GMF (or perhaps simply because he is GMF, who knows?), he appears to have given up on EUA and instead DR has been posting fantasy buys and fantasy profit-taking on many other boards instead where he has been pretending to have stakes. but no doubt he will pop his head back in here from time to time in a vain attempt to save face.

HITS, take a look at ricci87’s 14:25 post from 21/12; that appears to show a verbatim cut and paste from an email which someone associated with CTAG (presumably amit?) apparently sent to HL — it looks like HL is then simply paraphrasing parts of that email, rather than taking any position on it themselves.
