13:30, i doubt it works like that GM402. once the main ramp crew(s) have gone, they would not usually care much one way or the other about avoiding “too much suspicion”, since they’ve already made their money (or at least, cut their losses in the case of failed ramps).

a few of the lower level goons are indeed left behind, but not so much to fill an ongoing purpose - more simply they get left behind because they have served their purpose, are no longer of use, and the rampers above ‘em in the food chain don’t care what happens to those goons next. someone like mac wouldn’t give a darn what happens to folks like leno, friendsps, BFD, raggsy, etc etc, once mac himself has cashed out.

it’s only at this stage that a few of the lower level goons might gradually begin to realise that they were never really in the upper circle of the ramp, as it becomes increasingly evident that the massed ramping has fizzled out and they are the ones left holding the baby.

Hi crypto, i’m still around, but with the dearth of news and the disappearance of the ramping crews i don’t think there’s much to comment on until some kind of leak begins about the impending placing … likely not until jan / feb, maybe even as late as early march imv.

I’m a l/t aviva holder, i do like the sound of the acquisition, and hope blanc can bag directline. but also everything depends on price - i rate blanc highly, and that includes trusting her to be a good negotiator … important in biz to make bold decisions for big returns, but also v important to be prepared to just walk away if the price is wrong. i think most ii’s already understand she is not a soft touch and will be careful not to be excessively greedy.

i would be pretty happy if blanc can close the deal somewhere between 250-270, but a little bit disappointed if she pays 285-300.

& if you genuinely think that amit is paying back some holders of ordinary shares, but not others, then that is surely something you should be telling cotter about, since if true that would be pretty naughty in its own right (re fiduciary duty to all shareholders) …. let alone how it fits will all the various tales about deals and payouts he’s been spinning for so long.

Pointz, two different possible versions of that — (a) chorna, chandra and kev bought shares from amit, and have now been refunded, but also possible (b) chorna, chandra & kev never really bought shares in the first place, but were simply being paid to promote the sale of shares to others by amit.

Suggest you pass on any such purported info to cotter to help inform the litigation. (me, i don’t believe a word of that.)
