Mr_w, i do agree dattttabillybass is a bit odd, but some of the stuff he comes out with has been around from other EUA rampers for quite a while.

particularly, (1) there often seems to be the rather strange idea that scepticism about EUA’s assets equates to someone being left-wing, (2) the equally weird idea that only left-wing people object to putin’s war, with right-wing folks assumed to be naturally in favour of it, and (3) wackiest of all, the idea that people who are critical / sceptical of EUA’s prospects are massive supporters of trans ideologies.

people seem to prefer chatting about this stuff rather than focus on EUA’s mining economics, cash flow, accounts, etc. — so sensible on-topic contributions from folks like father hackett re metal prices gets ignored, while wind-up posts about how marvellous putin is attract plenty of responses.

Vladiimir putin could conquer half the known world next week, including manhattan & kunming, but it still wouldn’t make EUA’s assets worth a darn.

EUA has been trying to sell this stuff for years, long *before* putin’s muderous invasion, and they have never managed even a partial sale of their so-called assets.

interesting implications, therefore, for iran, north korea, pa_kistan, india, china, re what they can get away with. iran probably doesn’t yet have nuclear strike capability, but even isreal seems to accept it is too late to prevent iran developing that. it was trump who scuppered the last international approach that could have prevented that. (me, not convinced it makes the world a safer place for iran to get nukes.)

Tim, that’s not quite what i meant about the novum placing fiasco (“miscommunication”) — point is more that forcing full documentary disclosure from nomad (i.e. including their comms history with novum, amit, banks etc, etc) would also show which particular parties had made which particular erroneous vs mistaken vs downright dishonest statements and representations….

…some fault might indeed lie with the nomad, but also the nomad’s records may shed light on who else might have been rather naughty …. ? what was originally claimed to set up that placing which then turned out to be untrue and got the whole thing pulled?

but imo much of the rampy posting on this board in recent weeks comes from short-term flippers and traders, such as tcm, profitjock, sharebel, jcb0, etc, who are simply here hoping for a s/p to exit on.

i don’t believe for a moment that they will be staying in for “the asset sale” (and i rather doubt that many of them really believe such a thing will be happening in the foreseeable).

this chatboard is just that, a forum for people to chat about a particular share, and exchange their opinions and views about it, and somethings their hopes and fears. all posters will have particular perspectives, ‘biases’, preferences, etc — it’s not like a BBC news channel where all posters are meant to be utterly impartial and even-handed about the events they are presenting.

key point with EUA hinges on the economics of its so-called mining assets - i.e. how much is *really* there in the ground, how much it will *cost to extract & process* it, and *how much it can be sold for* (as father hackett highlighted earlier) …. & also, i suppose, whether any proceeds can actually be moved out of russia to e.g. london.

if those issues above —-> $$$$$$, then sure, EUA will make its holders rich, yay.

and yet, EUA was unable to sell its ‘assets’ when trump was president before…

and yet, EUA was also unable to sell its ‘assets’ before putin invaded ukraine…

Hi leno, i wasn’t trying to suggest that the deferred BoD pay and perks were a particularly major issue wrt whether or not EUA can remain a going concern. but the BoD’s backpay would definitely rank higher in list of creditors than any return at all to shareholders in the event of administration.

so simply trying to correct any inadvertent misrepresentation about how ‘generous’ or self-sacrificing EUA directors are being. i.e. if this company goes bust, very very likely they get their back pay, but very very unlikely shareholders would receive a dime.

… it would have been a more impressive show of confidence in the company’s prospects, and a more convincing “we’re all in it together” message, if the BoD had simply agreed to waive their salaries entirely, or if they had agreed to accept payment in EUA shares. instead, they are still claiming their entitlement to cold hard cash, but deferring when they receive that (most probably, imv, to when the next placing completed.)

11:40, EUA directors have not “forgone” their salaries … simply *deferred payment* of these. that money is still accruing for them.

Re 11:40, bear in mind leno that when auditors are asked to express an opinion on whether company is a going concern or not, they need to consider obligations falling due and how those can be met over the next *12 months*. … so if EUA currently have enough cash to be going concern until sept 2025, by summer ‘25 they would also need to show how they could meet cash obligations **from sept 2025 - summer 2026 **,in order for accounts to be signed off.
