Hi B Contrarian. The debt pile just gets bigger and bigger and is now a dead end. More money (fiat) supply will lead to more inflation even hyperinflation. I have read a report on M2 supply and to match gold to supply sees gold at $51k/oz. Scary stuff. ATB Speedy

Hi Daves1301. You state "probably going down along with other PMs" Where on earth do you get your info to back up that statement? Almost every pointer i use to gauge the direction for the POG tells me that much, much, higher prices are happening.

With the coming stock market correction gold will get sold of by some to cover margin calls, but the effect will be short lived and shallow. When that event happens gold and the producers will see a massive surge in buying, driving prices up.

High prices are driving up supply but not enough to satisfy demand. Central banks have recently eased up on purchases but still up on last years figs, ETFs around the globe have seen record levels of inflows and jewelry purchases in terms of value have reached record levels.

There are many other pointers i use (too many to list here) and every one are positive for the POG. ATB Speedy

Hi Scaramouched. My POG posts have dropped of recently because there is not much more i can say that is news. Things have been the same now for 3 mths whilst gold consolidates above $3000. We are waiting for a weekly breakout substantially above £3400/oz to confirm the consolidation period is over.

However, the pointers are all still there for a much much higher POG, we just have to wait.

What i am convinced of is that when Hav comes on line the POG will be giving GGP staggering profit margins. ATB Speedy

Hi Colenal. No panic here. Just curious how the short was setup 1 day prior to news. Have not seen the report in question so have no comment on the matter. The financial world is full is false info and chancers and where profit is concerned there is no moral line that will not be crossed. All we can do is our own in-depth research and take an educated guess. ATB Speedy

Hi Dubs. Sorry to hear of your 30% loss. I think it was just a matter of bad timing. This pull back is coming to an end and the upwards trend will continue in line with the POG.

We have a very experienced BODs who are perfectly capable of getting the assets out of the ground at a profit. The only unknown is how much profit, massive or gigantic are adjectives that spring to mind. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Someone let the cat out of the bag early and someone knew the news would spook the market and set up a short position. Classic signs, throw in a few bombs bellow current print first thing and watch weak hands sell and stop losses hit and the fall becomes self generating. It will not last too long.

The big question is, is the short just for short term profit or to facilitate low entry for TO/ II purchases. We will never know until it happens.

As for GGPs future, all is good with gold being purchased by CBs and investment inflows accelerating. Profit margins are very high,more and more being found at Telfer, no debt, Hav development mostly self funded.

I could go on but you get the picture. GGP is a diamond in the rough and many wealthy individuals are eyeing us up. ATB Speedy

Hi Colenal. Your argument does not stand. The odds are stacked against traders. It goes up they win, it goes down they lose it stays the same they lose (bid offer spread plus costs). Unless you were on the "inside" the 20% fall could not be predicted by any TA "experts". ATB Speedy

Hi All. If you think gold will crash, CU becomes useless and GGP will go bust, then sell. On the other hand if you think gold and CU will continue on its bull run and GGP will flourish, then buy. Simple really.

Gold will continue to new ATHs as central banks around the globe sell $ and increase their gold holdings. CU will be needed in ever increasing amounts to allow new infrastructure to be built. GGP are in the enviable position of having both assets and the ability to monetize both with no debt, it really does not get better than that.

The resent pullback is just a bump in the road on the journey to full value. ATB Speedy

Hi All. This is a classic example of why stop losses are a bad idea. Folks use round Nos 10% 15% 25% for no reason other than perceived risk management. Sitting with a 10% stop loss on a day like today is totally useless. The 10% will not be met and your stock would have been sold at a considerably lower 20 to 25%. Then you watch as the price recovers and you have to buy back at a higher price. With no stop losses in place you still have all your stock and as the price recovers there is no loss.

STOP LOSSES guarantee losses.

As the POG exceeds all expectations over the coming mths GGP will see new ATHs even without new finds. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Contracts in gold on the COMEX expire today and the criminal banks have engineered a print that ensures as many as possible close “out of the money”

Should be a good up day for gold and GGP tomorrow.
