Hi All. The only reason a third train or plant at Hav would be needed is if they find so much gold(WDD etc) at Telfer that both trains will be at full capacity for at least 10 years. A new plant at Hav would have to be justified by being able to extract much, much, more than what is currently planned.

Hi JSP. I have quite a few silver Britts held in a bonded store in Switzerland, no VAT no CGT. Held them thru a really bad (JPM induced) fall from $44/oz down to $12/oz. I will probably never sell them and will gladly pass them on in a few years at $250/oz. ATB Speedy

Hi Droverman. City drove the POG down to force producers to hedge. Just a pure profit making scam. This is a massive red flag for producers with debt. The banks call the shots and indebted producers suffer.

How much debt has GGP got? We shareholders funded the Hav/Telfer deal giving away 20% to Newmont in exchange for total control. I have always stated that dilution is better than debt. This will prove to be the deal of the decade. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Lots of opinions on what to do. Here is my two bobs worth.

The investing world is changing from financials to hard assets. The old 60% 40% mantra is well and truly dead. The place to be is in the PMs space.

Mortgaging the house for gambling is insane but using that money for investing in something that you have researched and are happy with is what has made many folks rich and some bankrupt.

I have used my family home as collateral for many ventures, some good some bad but unless you try you will never know.

Paying 7%(maybe) to borrow funds is a relatively cheap way. I would certainly not put all that into one basket and would split it 50% 50% GGP (high risk) and gold Britts (low risk). ATB Speedy

Hi Dave1310. War has become a media circus and most have become immune to the horror, until it hits them.

The main driver for the POG is world debt and the excellerating decline of fiat. You may be correct and we could see a pullback in gold but all the pointers are for a much, much higher POG.

We are now a producer and as such will follow the flow but only to a certain extent. New finds and a full set ofyears accts will push Ggp to new highs ATB Speedy

Hi Daves1310. The POG is consolidating, not going down. Nearly all central banks around the globe have stated their intentions to increase their gold holdings. Just a quick glimpse at the 6mth and 1 year charts tell you all you need to know. Looking at the 5 year shows a consolidation phase lasting a few years. The 10 year chart shows you where this is going and it aint down.

In one year the UK £( credit) has lost 30% of its purchasing power as opposed to gold( the only real money) so in real terms your other investments needs a 30% rise just to keep pace with fiat depreciation. Folks holding cash as an investment are losing at a very quick rate.

I have no idea how long this current consolidation will last but the next rise will be spectacular. ATB Speedy

Hi All. It worries me that folks still do not understand the gold space and what benefits it holds. If holding cash and losing spending power over the course of a year is your thing then good luck to you.

To preserve wealth their is not many better ways than physical gold in the form of coin of the realm. This year it is up around 30 pc in 5years it has beaten most other asset classes.

I find it unbelievable that people on hear are talking about holding cash as an investment. ATB Speedy
