Hi All. Cross listing, share shuffling, consolidation, who owns what, is just a small part of what is about to happen.

The world bond market is in a mess, debt is exploding and a debt death spiral is in effect. There is no way out of this apart from default either via hyperinflation or a good old fashioned "you are knocked". The rush out of bonds and into gold is gaining pace and will accelerate as more and more folk realize what is happening.

The prospects for GGP are bright but not so good for the rest of the world. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Add up all the factors, tariffs, wars etc and they all pale into insignificance compared to debt. With the downgrade in USA and with inflation rising it is only a matter of time until rates rise as bond buyers demand more returns.

Holders of debt must look at their approach to debt as the writing is on the wall for rates to go mental as govs carry on printing to finance their debt. This death spiral is real and will mark the end of the current financial system.

Holders of paper assets including derivative based bets, cash and bonds will be wiped out.

As central banks around the globe load up on physical gold it is clear as day what is happening and gold will play an important part in the next financial system.

Physical gold and the Cos that produce it are the go to assets. ATB Speedy

Your are obviously a very sophisticated investor. Most here are not. The diff between holding physical gold or the miners is risk. Mining is about the most riskiest game on the planet, whilst physical gold (held over time) is about the safest investment available. Diversification is ok in "normal times" but we are witnessing a massive change in circumstances that demand a different approach.

As for liquidity gold Britannias are about the best, i can have funds in my bank acct almost instantly on phoning my dealer. I always store my gold at place of purchase and storage, including insurance, is usually cheaper than broker fees for ETFs.

Not sure where the "end of the world" came from but we are witnessing the end of the current financial system as it stands.

Hi Sageman. I use ETFs for short term trading but would never use them as a long term investment.

End of the world as we know it is happening in front of your eyes and if you can not see that then that is your problem. World debt, power shift from west to east, commodity cycle, wars everywhere, useless corrupt politicians, citizens taxed beyond acceptable levels, fiat in its death throws, derivative trading out of control, i could go on but i think you get the message.

If you want to "invest" in ETFs then do so but when they default it will be your responsibility. Speedy

Hi All. SD can only reveal about our future with official news releases backed by facts controlled by corporate law.

This is not the case for individuals with great knowledge of geology, finance,gold industry and mining. The folks that have attended the meets around the country and at the TH meets have heard about what is coming and are more than happy with the way the Co is shaping up.

Todays investors are ahead of the curve and once yearly P and L accounts are published the big funds will be paying multiples of todays SP.

Gold will be playing a big part in future word finance and GGP will be supplying it for any years to come. ATB Speedy

The whole world is adhering to the rules whilst the USA, Europe and the UK are dragging their heels in a desperate attempt to keep the plates spinning. If Basel 1 11 and 111 are strictly adhered to then who in their right mind would want to hold gov bonds?

A debt can be arranged with a 20% hair cut and the gold ownership then returned as the debt is cleared, much better than using loss making bonds as collateral.

Hi NO8s. There is no profit from the inflation effect on gold just wealth preservation, the profit comes from the banks losing control of pricing and the world waking up to gold ownership. Physical gold, in quantity, is in short supply at todays prices. Buyers looking for large amounts are standing for delivery on COMEX at record levels and are, in effect, getting gold at a discount, this will not continue and the western backed paper gold market will fail soon and eastern physical markets will be calling the shots.

China will only let the POG really fly once they have finished unloading the USA $. I suspect they will then declare their true holdings and shock the world with figs approaching 40000tons. This may happen sooner than expected but no one really knows.

There has never been a more compelling reason to hold Physical gold and the producers for leverage on the coming events . ATB Speedy

Hi All. A "strong USA $" is a complete farce. It is only strong compared to other fiat. The UK is in a mess with investors demanding higher and higher rates for gilts, then look at the basket case that is Japan. The USA is desperate to keep rates on the 10 year at, or below, 4.5%. USA debt servicing will reach $1trillion/year.

Word debt is the biggest driver for POG with Central banks and major investors going long gold and dumping $s. Why anyone would buy bonds that guarantee a loss is beyond me. That is why interest rates must rise to facilitate more debt causing a debt spiral. Then servicing that debt with worthless "clicked into existence" fiat. This will cause massive inflation and will be the end of the current financial system.

Hi all. A month or so ago JPM, B of A, GS et al were all advocating $4000/oz. Dumb money piled into ETFs and then the banks hit their stop losses. It will happen again and again and again. Please do the right thing, buy "Charlies" and hold.

With Basel 111 coming into effect gold will be as good as a deposit acct without the risk of depreciation.

The next move in the gold space will be north from here and will shoot straight past Polaris on the way to Alpha Centauri. ATB Speedy

Hi All. "The trend is your friend" Take a look at the 10year (or longer) gold chart and compare it to spending power of fiat. It is obvious the trend is, gold up, $ down. The only acceptable way out (for politicians) is QE and this will cause inflation and higher interest rates. This will increase the trend line and the $ is toast and gold will shine. This inflation is non profit for gold holders and just preserves wealth. The real earnings will come from producers such as GGP.

This pull back is just a slight blip on our journey and not worth worrying about. ATB Speedy
