Hi All. With the USA gov shut down there is no COT report from the COMEX. The rise from $3400/oz to $4300/oz was too fast, driven by ETF demand. This gives the banks a window to cover their tracks. With the likes of JPMs Dimon saying "gold is needed in a portfolio" whilst driving the paper price down for massive profits. Forked tongue does not cover it.

Fear not, this correction will be relatively short lived. It may turn into a consolidation phase lasting a few mths, as did $3400/oz but once $4300/oz is busted the upside to $6000/oz will follow in short order.

By the time Telfer has shown a mine life of decades and Hav is producing the FCF from gold at $6k/oz will be (insert your own adjective) ATB Speedy

This pushed up the POG too fast, then they sold into the rising market pushed the POG down hitting stop losses and making a massive profit on the $300/oz move down. Hi All. This slight pullback should be treated as an entry point for folks wanting to buy physical gold. The gold bull is well and truly underway and is no where near finished.

Every investor has choices on where to direct funds and nothing looks better than gold, at the moment. With the "experts" predicting a crash in stock markets the POG has taken a breather only to rebound quicker than most can envisage.

Hi All. It is different this time. Even peace in Gaza cannot stop the rise and a falling USA $ is not the only reason. We are headed into new territory with gold headed into nose bleed highs. The criminal commercial banks have lost control and will suffer significant losses on their short bets. I believe this is the end of the COMEX and the LBMA as price setters and their very existence is in doubt.

Gold must end up on the blockchain and be divisible for everyday spending. How that will work with my Britts is another matter but gold held in storage can be certificated and entered onto the chain.

There are powerful forces at work and i am not at all clear where this is headed.

Hi All. There seems to be a misconception about what happens with the death of the current fiat system . It will not be the end of the world or any where near it. There will be a replacement system probably backed by gold but at massively elevated POG. The wealth destruction will be really bad for the unprepared. ATB Speedy

Hi all. Just a few short weeks ago i stated "when £3400/oz is breached then $4000/oz will be reached in short order" Only 6weeks have passed and we finn the POG above the $4k print. I did not think it would happen this fast.

This bull is going to break all historical records relating to % gains in a certain time frame. This is a clear signal that the game is up for the current fiat system and if you have not yet purchased your gold Britts i suggest you correct that mistake asap. ATB Speedy

Hi SAS. Sorry for the delay in responding. Physical gold and mining are worlds apart. Physical gold is one of the safest and most liquid assets on the planet whilst gold mining is about as risky as it gets.

My portfolio is very diversified with 60% GGP plus a few other (small positions) exploration plays and 40% physical gold.

You ask "what will be the best". If all goes to plan then GGP should outshine physical gold by a considerable margin, but at my stage in life i resist the urge to go all in.

Hi All. $4k/oz is baked in for close of play this year. This rise is not just due to inflation and is now all about demand.The banks have lost control of the price setting and the LBMA and COMEX are under extreme pressure. Western retail is getting the idea that owning gold is a necessity. They have $trillions locked up in equities/bonds etc. When they re balance their portfolios to include 20% gold the rise in the POG will be spectacular.

Holders of physical gold today will see huge, real, (not inflation driven) profits. The bull is well and truly under way and has a lot more to run. ATB Speedy
