Hi All Trying to predict the SP on a daily, weekly, basis is impossible. Long term is a different matter and with all the info gathering and research my prediction for 12mths time is, much higher than todays print.

The reasons for me saying this is, POG above $5500/oz, Telfer mine life extension, full years accts plus many other SP raising events.

Hi TT. Dons list is just that, a list. Holding that many stocks would be a nightmare for any PI and would need a whole team to monitor. May as well just buy a miners ETF. I also think $5500/oz will happen a lot quicker. ATB Speedy

Hi All. No one knows what date it will fall on but it is close, i will say Dec 15th . With the POG poised to explode to the upside (financial Armageddon approaching) it will already be under valued related to coming FCF. Markets are forward looking and will price in the upside coming our way.

In the financial crisis that is coming gold will get sold off to cover losses but will rebound fast. Investors running to cash will be guaranteed a loss on that cash. Inflation will see cash lose purchasing power and guarantees safe guarding cash in banks (£120k) will not help the majority of holders in the event of banks failing.

Investors in gold backed EFTs are in for a big shock once they realize "The king has no clothes". There are reports out there that claim the custodians of those ETFs are miss reporting holdings and stealing the gold to acquire physical. If they are doing this to get physical gold then so should you, not steal it but just buy it. ATB Speedy

Hi All. This consolidation phase is on going and will continue for a bit longer. It is not that bad and has only corrected approx 10% from the ATH.

Charles Archer sums it up nicely by stating "physical, in hand, gold has no counter party risk" This fact is one of the main reasons for the current bull. Risk is at a huge level in all financial markets with derivatives around $600 trillion backed by assets of a few $billion. What could possibly go wrong?

Gold is being sold to cover margin calls and the POG could go lower from here prior to accelerating to new ATHs on a daily basis as gold establishes itself as the ultimate go to safe haven.

Hi Timber. Now think 3 years ahead. WDD and Hav on one train and 10mt from Telfer on the other. In excess of 500mil ozs/yr @ $7k/oz. Approx US$3.5billion/yr less AISC. Eye watering or what?

Hi Spy. We are in a consolidation phase now with the $4k level being used as a barrier. You could be correct and gold goes to $3600 but i very much doubt it. With $100 swings each way it would not take many days to reach $3600 or $4600. One thing is almost guaranteed, once this phase is over $5500/oz comes in short order. ATB Speedy

Hi TJ1979. If you live near London i suggest Sharps Pixley. Just round the corner from The Ritz and a wonderful dealership making the whole experience a memorable occasion. If not Chards or Atkinsons are the best with low premiums. I personally would avoid BBP and Royal Mint due to the higher premiums. ATB Speedy

Hi All. There are so many factors to consider when trying to determine direction. The big daddy used to be action by the Fed and now their influence has been diminished via physical buying, the big daddy is now China. The implementation, by China, of VAT on non investment gold is a big deal but still not big enough to move the dial by much. Rate cutting around the globe has helped in making gold look more interesting but still not big enough to move the dial.

The coming bank crisis and stock market correction is one to keep an eye on. World debt is not getting any better and trust in fiat is waning fast as central banks around the globe continue to dump $s and buy gold. Etf demand is still very high.

The battle for $4000/oz is still under way and we will need to see a hold above $4400/oz to confirm the next move to $5500. ATB Speedy

With gold on a historic bull run, successful, well managed, gold explorers are the place to be.

As a note of caution, most fail miserably, so only treat this and an outside punt. Having said that, the profits realized can be substantial. ATB Speedy
