Hi Archways. You are correct, i miss read the article and admitted that straight away. If (big if) the BODs do use that clause to raise more funds it will add to our cash holding so no diff to asset valuation. What they do with the cash will determine the effect on the SP. The BODs have not made too many bad decisions yet and i am happy to let them run the show as they see fit. ATB Speedy

Hi Jonno. If the gov was to announce that it only had enough funds to cover the failing of a small private bank there would be uproar and a run on all banks. Where do you think all the money would come from to cover all bank deposits up to £85k, i have searched for but am unable to find a fig. FCA and FSCS will not disclose what funds they have ready for such an event. There is also the possibility of the banks taking your deposits to cover their losses under the "bail in " laws quietly passed a short time ago. The banks are in a mess, hence my constant purchases of gold c--ns( must not mention coins on here). ATB Speedy

Hi Hopefullygold. The info straight from the horses mouth, massive retail buying of physical gold from the Perth mint, but even bigger amounts into gold ETFs. In my opinion these ETFS will turn out to be a bigger scam than Madof. One thing i must pull Jordan up on is his mention of inflation not effecting the POG. He said we have had only 2% inflation yet the POG has risen, my view is that he has his inflation figs wrong. I have also just received a report on the state of the UKs banking system and it is not pretty. The big UK banks are in a worst state now than before the GFC with leverage at an all time high. It also states that the Gov backed £85k guarantee for deposits is just wishfull thinking and the funds are not there to meet demand. The POG can not be held back much longer. ATB Speedy

Hi Bandit. There are many suppliers out there. Most charge excessive premiums and offer a very poor buy back price. For best value purchase wise look at Chards or Atkinsons, The Pure Gold Co offer one of the best buy back price. Hope that helps. ATB Speedy

Hi All. A little bit of action in the paper market today, a new vax that has only been slightly tested is announced and the POG was driven down $30 only to recover again with "buy the dip" punters. These take downs are getting less and less and are lasting shorter and shorter. Soon the paper market will get overrun by physical buying. Bloomberg has just released a chart showing global negative yielding debt has just hit $16.5 Trillion. When the brain dead finally realize that the game is up and central banks have lost control the flight into physical gold/silver will see new price highs in short order. PMs at this level will not be around for much longer. It is now time to stop thinking about gold/silver buying and take action before it is too late. ATB Speedy

Hi Jet. Kaolin is basically pure clay. Used in ceramics fired at a very high temp. It also works wonders as a poultice for skin infections, burns, gut problems, liver cleanses and cleaning paint on cars. There are too many uses to mention here. The big pharma do not want it on the market for obvious reasons, it can be purchased at health stores and comes with a "do not ingest" . I just dig it up in my garden for use as first aid. Hi Tacet. Hats of to you, the amount of hours you must spend pressing buttons for profit is amazing. The nearest i get to TA is looking at past performance charts. I am a great believer in luck. I sold out at £6.29p just before the Horizon disaster (because i need the funds) and i sold out again at £4.80p to put the funds into GGP. Pure lucky decisions.
