Hi All. Criminality is at the heart of JPMs trading desks. It is encouraged from the top but the top is insulated from prosecution. The regulators and financially aware politicians turn a blind eye or the criminals banks are given stupid fines paid for by investors or bailed out by tax payers. The top people in the bank are rewarded with massive re numeration packages for illegal gains. These facts have been proven time and time again, but still it continues. There is a saying "where there is muck there is brass" but when referring to the banks it should be re worded to "where there is brass there is muck".
The big problem is the banks run the world they are far to powerful. ATB Speedy

Hi Plode. What would you call a rise from $1620/oz early Nov, to $1800/oz mid Dec. I personally see that as a breakout from the Feb 21 downward trend, with a lot more to come.
There is talk that we are now in a deflationary period. A few things (oil, lumber and homes to name some) have come down but from where i sit, food, rent, energy is still rising. The narrative is being twisted in favour of a softening in rate rises to protect the equity markets. I see negative real rates with us for the forseeable future and that is a major tail wind for the POG. ATB Speedy

Hi All. King Canute tried to stop the rising tide and failed, so will the powers that be fail in their attempts to stop the rising tide in gold. The ongoing suppression is an own goal and is facilitating the accumulation by the eastern aligned nations. It may even be the accumulators suppressing for that very reason, but i suspect not. With all the facts mentioned in 5/8ths post it is counter intuitive to see the $ POG stay the same as 10 years ago, let alone 1 year. How much longer will we have to wait for the tide to rise? is anyone guess, but i think we are nearer today than we have been for decades. ATB Speedy

Hi Bancal. There are so many bullish signals for gold that it almost inconceivable that the POG will not accelerate upwards in the short, medium and longer term. ATB Speedy

Hi All. With open interest in gold/silver at record lows on the COMEX the position is over the top bullish. With the Saudis effectively accepting payment in gold for their oil. With most of the worlds central banks buying record amounts of physical gold. With all the talk of a world currency backed partly by gold. With the POG at record lows when compared to fiat currency supply. I could go on but i think you get the idea that gold is now going to enter the biggest bull run on record. The miners and royalty Cos will benefit on a massive scale on the back of this bull and we are sitting in a perfect position to profit. ATB Speedy

I agree with what you say and SD is very impressive, not only with what he says but also in what he has done and what he plans to do. You say "the SP is not great" you are correct for today but next year will be much, much, better. Hi All. The PMs market is on the move. 8% up in a month for gold and 13% in a month for silver. At the same time the £ was stronger against the $ by 5.5%. The FX trade has nearly wiped out the £ rise in gold and almost half of silvers rise. Once cable finds its balance ( probably 1.35) we will see substantial rises in the POG in £s as the bull in the PM space gathers pace and gold goes to new ATH and onwards towards £2200/oz ( probably sooner than we think).
Anyone see 50oz gold buying a 3 bed terrace in the not too distant future. ATB Speedy
