Hi All. Not a lover of bitcoin and the rest but blockchain tech allows a physical gold backed crypto "coin" to become mainstream. I know there are some gold backed coins around but until a nation state or group of nations get together not many people will trust it. Personally i will stick with my Brits (VAT and CGT free).
There is a very good vid over on Kitco with J B Tucker what he says makes perfect sense and all should watch and react. He sees a 80% increase in the POG in the new year. What will that do for GGPs future profits? ATB Speedy

Hi All. I know a lot of posters think the short position is too small to have any effect but with such small churn even a few 100k sells can keep the SP in check. The shorts have added a further (approx)2.5 million in the last 7 days and this is having an effect. We need some good news , drill results, new find, accelerating decline or a big lift in the POG or CU. Anyone of these will turn the tide,it is just a matter of time. ATB Speedy

Hi Red. It is not just me that thinks we are at the start of a massive bull run in PMs and the miners. A large proportion of advisers and experts are saying the same thing "buy gold and miners".

This debt has been created by spending beyond means for years and now its payback time. 2023 should see a massive change in investment strategy as HNW individuals, institutional investors and fund managers realize the game is up and will seek safe haven in gold and silver and profit seeking from the miners and producers. Today investment in the PM space is minimal (less than 1% of total investments) just a small increase will see huge gains and i see the increases being huge. Hi Idealised. Whilst i respect your opinions, the tone of your post needs addressing. The only real money is gold and only gold. Crypto along with fiat is backed by nothing, with a real value only determined by the greater fool theory. I am of the opinion that crypto is heading for a wipe out. The technology of blockchain is a completely different matter and i see gold being used as a backing for a new (currency) using that tech. Only time will see who is correct. ATB Speedy
