In addition, A17, if you look at the accounts and view the value of sales and margins it is abundantly clear through the % comparisons from one to the other that they must be making reasonable margins and therefore cannot be relying in any way on mass volume with low margin TUI products.

No ramping here TF. Merely pointing out that our friend A17 is talking nonsense. He has no idea what products they sell, but having their own ATOL tells you that they must also sell their own packages. I doubt they even sell the TUI product as very few non-TUI retailers would sell it.

To be quite honest Alfacomp, I was sitting having a cup of tea before heading for a train, glanced at the reasonable volume of buys, noticed slight to little upward movement, checked a sell price on Barclays for 100,000, (not that I was selling...not sold a single share in the last 18-24 months), had a suspicion as a result of the above that a sell may be getting worked, as has happened in the past, and as I once correctly called in the past (and was actually accused of being the seller)...then posted my comment. Had I known that it would have any chance of being treated in such a way, I may still have posted it. BUT, to be very honest, I think I will refrain from posting anything else from now on. It actually says "share chat" directly above this box, but it seems that "chat" is no longer enough for some people. Good luck to everyone and goodbye for now.

Ludicrous description of the travel business Arsenal17. The travel business is far more attractive and successful than you give it credit for. Having the number of outlets they have, making the level of sales they are making, with the level of margin they make, means they are right up there with the best on a like for like basis

Multiple buys going through with little or no effect on the SP. Could be wrong, but just had a feeling

RNS with a decent update and we rise. RNS With little substance and we drop. No RNS and we drop. RNS as in scenario one and we drop because many people will buy on rumour and sell on news. Take your pick but I’m still holding for now

With all due respect Arsenal17, you clarified that you only ever invested in FTSE 100 companies a couple of years ago on this very board, but then declared your investment and subsequent profit on a purchase of MIN. You state that you still have the same investment strategy yet, 12-24 month on and you still feel the need to cast your negative cloud over MIN....you cannot possibly expect anyone to believe you have no agenda. I doubt you are short, but you may have a grudge methinks. I do not entirely disagree with you BOD thoughts, but I'd be more inclined to single out CE. he should have retired, resigned or handed back some cash for what he has done to the SP. I do however believe that the long term patience of many will soon be rewarded...not by huge gains, but by at least getting a small premium on top of their investments.

Joebull, the news is expected as a result of the info in the 2nd May RNS re General Meeting, Bondholders etc....After 16 May 2018, (30 days following the formal communication of the ruling to creditors), and subject to no further petition being received, the court will confirm this �creditor list� as final. Some therefore expect an RNS tomorrow or Thursday

You might get a chance to add soon as it appears a large sell may be going through...selling now at 1.24p and dropping back

Being offered 1.28p to sell on barclays

Decent start looking likely as 1.10p to sell 250,000...not that I'll sell for 1.10

Also an easy exercise for the MMs to drop it quickly, trigger a few stop losses by those who got in today/yesterday and grab a few shares back. I wonder how many will have been caught and will now need to pay more to get back in.

Cheers pablo2. No issue for me if it drops as I'll pick up a few more ahead of next week. Traders are clearly bailing out and taking a hit into the bargain. Hopefully a breather soon and then a quick rise back up as no reason to sell just now

They are simply using "buy on rumour sell on news" theory to drop the price and encourage some trades...but these RNS are no reason to sell at this stage.

I'm convinced someone had posted a nonsensical comment about "tanked" but checked back and it's gone...cannot even remember who had posted it and was about to challenge it, but no need now.

Nothing surprising at all in seeing a late 2 hour delayed sell dropped in after 16:30 to enable the sp to show as down on the day.
