Jack must be chuffed to bits that you respect his views more than any other with the exception of Arsenal. Given that there's only about 3-4 genuine, regular posters on this BB over the last 2-3 years, that kind of puts him in the bottom section. Quite a compliment indeed. LOL

I agree with aisee, in that we have been told certain facts and will know the outcome in due course. The debate could go on and on, but if you do not have trust in the BOD then simply end your investment. We seem to have far too many people levelling criticism at the slightest sign of unrest. The BOD have shown themselves to be extremely competent in their approach to all challenges that have faced to date...I see no reason that this situation should be any different.

Whats's the thinking behind a delay in showing the last large buy from 11:30ish. Normally it's the sells that are delayed.

Sorry, should have said "sell" not "see". Anyway, just picked up another 12,903 at 19.375...was a bit too slow to get them cheaper, but still happy with that. Got to ride the storm and not be taken in by the games as the fundamentals are still the same.. Also somewhat unsure of the veracity of some supposed info being posted by a certain poster earlier.

Tried dummy sell of 200,000, 100,000, 50,000...unable to get a price. There must be large amounts of shares in their coffers, so not too sure about the shortage that your analysis is showing Alfa. Unless that is what they want is to think. To be honest, I'm not too bothered as I'm not selling any, but tring to get more funds to buy some more

As I recently stated, I suspect and hope the the RNS was issued as they knew that not doing so was a mistake back in June, and they have learned from their mistake.

More importantly, given the timing of this event and the imminent issue of results (sorry for the use of the "I" word), I suspect and hope that there must be a view that the next expected results RNS will be very pleasing, and as such, FM and Co wish to avoid any possibility of the shine being taken off them.

Finally, my interpretation of Friday's RNS is that they expect the strike to be terminated imminently, (apologies again), if not already, either because they have solved the issue or because they are in discussions to resolve it.....BUT also because they know that they can issue another RNS to announce the return to work news early this week.

It does however state that they have asked for them to resume working prior to that, but on the basis that discussions will take place. So, technically, we could still have a "back to work provisionally" RNS

I'm delighted that they have seen fit to RNS the news this time. If they had done so when it happened in June, there would have been little or no effect whatsoever in the recent quarterly update as it would have been old news. Add to that, the fact that they can now RNS when the action is finished and we should see another uplift in SP. Great to see they have learned from the experience.
I'm only annoyed that I could not gran a few more, but delighted that others did.

It must be rather frustrating for them to realise that their tactics and needs are being so closely monitored. Well done Alfa. Let's hope patience prevails and that they get deprrived of what they need.

Could we be catching our breath before the next jump up to previous highs? Hard to tell but nice to see the downward pressure come to a halt for now. Not long now till news and as much I really believe that FM and co don’t really worry about these dips(rightly so), I think they will have H1 out sooner rather than later. Well done again to Alfa in particular, but also to numerous others for excellent research and analysis. Transformational days may be upon us soon

Excellent analysis Alfa. I've already done 3. and would suggest that 2. should be done as well. It doesn't really matter how long it may take the FCA to investigate...the facts will be there for all to see and hopefully those who are abusing the system will think hard before they decide to continue.

Has anyone ever considered that if FM and his fellow directors did read this board and did, therefore, realise that the majority of investors are seriously in this for the long run, then they would more than likely not be concerned with short-term movements like this week and last. They have already clearly stated that the plan is bigger than this and that a low SP will be a thing of the past, as and when all of the plans come to fruition.
Therefore as much as a low SP today may make you feel bad and may make your portfolio look in a loss position, if you are one of the majority who is seriously in this for the big rewards, then you've little choice but to swallow hard and sit tight or buy some more. Easy to say than to do, I know, but if you really would not sell at 28p, 27p, 26p etc and you believe in the fundamentals, then the brighter days will come.
I do not intend to be patronising but merely to convey my own mindset at this time.

Couldn't resist another few buys for kids investments...2284, 2414 and 2516 ...all very small numbers, but they will all count in the long run.
Interesting to see how everyone views the current situation and frankly speaking, everyone may actually be right, whether they are being critical or not. The main point for me, however, is that I have no intention of selling any shares any time soon, am frustrated at first when days like today occur, but then immediately see these days as opportunities to add to my investment.

Fortune favours the brave....another 9459 for me. I hope I can keep finding a few extra ££s here and there as every little counts and it feels good picking more up at these prices.
