I’d have thought that there are some investors on this BB who have the size of holding and therefore hopefully enough clout to be able to at least try to contact FM to highlight the apparent abuse of the company’s SP. He may or may not be aware that it’s being manipulated, although I’m sure a 10% drop on a day like today would ensure that he does know. Not sure it would instigate any action but it would be nice if it did

Exactly Sanche599z and Clarkgriswold...they do consider the possibility...and it concerns them greatly. I feel that our time is coming once again.

Definitely getting more and more positive articles pointing towards a very interesting few months coming up. Hopefully this will be enough to persuade the pesky predators to find another share to manipulate for their shorting activity.

Perhaps FM is so up to speed with all things Vanadium that he truly felt that the prices would reach the bottom this week or early next week and therefore felt it best to hold back any resource RNS until such time as the prices turned back in our favour. Not many would be better placed to make that call.

If, as many nay sayers have suggested, we are down at this SP due to the drop in price of Vanadium then there is only one likely outcome over the next few weeks if the prices turn. Time will tell. perhaps this will encourage a few more buys on Monday and make life a little bit tricky for anyone still running shorts.

Great info SloppyGuiseppe. This would hopefully also fit in with someone’s theory about stockpiles of V being accumulated last year, which would essentially lead to lower current demand, but which would also naturally run dry. Only one outcome there. They’ll need to ramp up their supplies if V again. Prices may have reached the bottom if that’s the case. Just a theory, but I’m sure others more knowledgeable than me will fill the gaps.

The shorters now have their usual dilemma, close their positions if they are not in the habit of doing so each night (as some have previously stated), sit tight on the same exposure over the weekend or extend their positions with a few more sells while hoping that the sells are not absorbed by extra money sitting on the sidelines...as seems to have happened quite a bit this week.

I really don't care as this will be as temporary an event as previous ones.

I still feel a blue day is likely.

Not going to be looking in too often today, but am hoping/expecting to see an end to the sells, possible closure of shorts, then a reasonable bounce back later today.

They are behind a great deal of the recent fall in SP. I don't agree with a drop in vanadium price being directly responsible...otherwise our SP would conversely have been sky high through the back end of last year.

Shorters, by their very nature, are predators or bottom feeders who look for any little glimmers of opportunity to cast doubt on a share's current SP. They simply manufacture a false drop in SP, and with BMN they have been given quite a few opportunities recently.

Their time will come to an end here very soon. They will then move on and scavenge elsewhere.

And it’s also worth noting that the resource update may still surprise a few and come out on Monday.... “Further to the update announced on 27 March 2019, the Vametco Mineral reserve and resource estimate is currently undergoing final stages of review and will be published as soon as it is available, albeit this may now be after 15 April 2019.” Now that would really worry my if I were short by close of play tomorrow. CharlieR123 = nvhltd. Suggestions are the same. Denies there is any shorting. Whether his facts are correct or not, it is shorting which is predominantly driving down the SP. I guess Charlie/nvhltd is bored of Advfn and it’s core of 3-4 posters.

God knows how many they’ll need to buy back when they decide to close their short. Looks like a good few chunky timed sells again today.

Same here Compass. I’m actually getting quite accustomed to such events and strangely enough am barely concerned about it. Deja vu.

Was given NT on selling just £5k worth just a few moments ago...not live. Looks like those going short will be having a decent return for this week's work. The SP needs some decent buying to provide support by the looks of it. Lots of games going on and quite a few LTHs getting a bit tetchy. No doubt some will sell to buy back later.

I'm rather boring, not too greedy and not much of a gambler, so I will just sit on the side and feel aggravated at the drop, but confident that the tide will turn...as it has done so many times before.

Rather looking forward to the £1+ day when I can look back on the 10p, 14p, 30p, 40p days and recall the distress, worries, concerns at all the games that were played out.
