Being a RR pensioner, I got a 6 page letter from RR pension fund saying they have offloaded the pension fund's future liabilities to Prudential. Should be good for the balance sheet and HOPEFULLY SAFE FOR THE PENSIONERS.

I use iweb. Have for all isa and ordinary share dealing.

No set up cost or annual management fee and low selling costs. Got o be set up on line. To deposit certificates once an ordinary share account is set up just need to download and print the transfer form. Fill in and post off. They also have a decent online chat system and can always phone to talk through proble.s also will uy ans sell if required. Sure everyone here has their favour, iweb is mine.

I apologise I was being a bit sarcastic. It's the usual cry that goes up from some every time the price drops, especially the tree shaking bit. If it wasn't identified as a buy when rising through 1073, then can't see why it is when falling. Not that much has changed.

Well, that didn't last long.

Have a few thousand in premium bonds. Get a few prizes every month, nothing spectacular. It's my "walk away fund" ie a couple of years living costs. So if the market suddenly tanks for whatever reason I can walk away leaving my funds invested and cash in my safe bonds to pay my way

Jefferies were the Company broker and few years ago

Seem to remember they were moved out after a couple of years. They don't owe RR any favours which gives a bit more weight to an upgrade.

The Donald has really sh***ed everything. I've been in this share for many years and there is always something that results in a " buying opprtunity" [I'm being sarcastic]
