Im sure i read a interview with Turbo fan that there'll be nothing on the balance sheet for SMR until after 2030. I think he said there is a fair value input in the balance sheet for the SMRs. Don't know what that input signifies, guess it's a notional value for RR SMR Ltd

I dont know how old the share certificares are but determining the share price from the date on the certificate could be misleading. Over tge years, RR made slight difference to the companies title and reissued new share certificates. They did this at least once, maybe twice but my memory fails me on this detail. Svend no doubt can give you the full low down. I think you'll also need to check the Company Title on each of the certificates to ensure they are the latest share certificates

I dont think you can add someone else's GCT allowance to another person. You can only use your own personal GCT limit. Never seen it written down, but believe thats the case. Can always transfer shares to spouses ownership though.

In the future if there is a shortfall due to the global financial climate then Prudential will make up the shortfall not RR. Prudential is in the financial business, so more their skillset than.RRs
