Twiggy - I think the same. Corporate structure all over the place and needs tidying up and I think there sorting this out. I don’t think we’ll get MiCA before 1st July but think we’ll be on some sort of programme with BoL to get it over the line in the coming months.

Don’t think that’s out the question but MiCA is EU only. Can still operate in other continents.

Let’s not forget we only bought Cake/Bake January 2025 and then by the time the BoD spent doing all the onboarding stuff they were then tasked with looking into MiCA which has been a minefield to say the least and probably required more time before hand to understand what was required.

I can’t see July 1st 2026 being the if you don’t have a licence you can’t operate full stop, what about the new players that will come over time that need a MiCA licence. I did post a article the other week about polish VASPS piggy banking of authorised CASPS to give them 12 months to then go back and get their own CASPS MiCA licence.

I did also say back in December after a call with Wellesley that the Semnet case was cut and dry. Be good just to get a settlement figure now and move on!

Although the settlement figure would be most welcome to know…

Bigger picture here for semnet is are we proceeding with the Nasdaq listing and an update on the government contract they were pursuing.

Given TDTH have won’t numerous contracts with African governments recently then I believe the Nasdaq listing is still on but hopefully we get some news of that in the coming weeks!

Before we go jumping the gun here Rabbit could be right, he could have meant his journey at Bake is coming to an end.

Today marks my last day at Bake.

Over the past years, I had the opportunity to work across community management, communications, social media, and customer-facing operations during some of the company’s most challenging and transformative periods. I agree, it is pathetic and I have a hunch as to how they are progressing with MiCA. With so many arms to the business I am staggered with the lack of updates.

But I think there solely focusing on getting MiCA over the line!

Either way 2 months and we’ll get an update on that! GST sole focus has to be the first stablecoin issuer listed on the London stock exchange so let’s hope they are still working to that! Money has been raised over the years to get this done so I’m hoping this year there is good news on that front.

The www.gsmoney.net website still displaying the same message as the other day and I think this is being tested. The last two MiCA authorisations (new rail and UAB Blue) in Lithuania also had EMT & CASP approvals as well so maybe that GST are going for CASP and EMT which would be huge.

Could be a reason with Lithuania of doing it this way but hopefully we’re not too far away from finding out

I think Semnet will be massive once this arbitration/court case is resolved. Governments around the globe will need cybersecurity due to geo political tensions and they’re well placed.

If Bake doesn’t get MiCA it won’t operate in EU but can still operate elsewhere so its nots completely dead. We only kept 12 key personnel of staff when we brought the assets of Cake and to my knowledge there hasn’t been a mass exodus which means they’re not winding down completely, they also haven’t given up on the MiCA application so they must be getting some guidance on how to get it over the line.

MiCA is huge. If we can get that then this would do 100-200% in a day. 7 weeks to go.

Whether it’s Lithuania, Latvia or Malta we need to get it over the line!

I’m also quietly hoping for an Arabian acquisition in the coming months. Lots of growth expected in the coming years.
