It looks like Metapay was just set up with the SPI licence to be sold from the start.

GST had easysend and bonfirepay and looks like they ditched bonfirepay cause metapay was available.

I am in angreance with you that Balinski is assisting them with MiCA. GST we’re looking for a chief of compliance of Bake but I can’t seem to find anyone on LinkedIn or anywhere that holds that role so instead of finding someone I think they have used Balinski to help assist with the compliance side. Aiste Jurcine held the fold of chief of compliance abut left GS Fintech UAB around May this year so looks like no one has replaced her.

Hopefully we’re about to find out very soon

Given they have come out and done an interview and more to follow over the course of the next 12 months I don’t think the interims will be anything too bad.

Actually also looking forward to seeing the semnet arbitration as I think that will be at least a few million at least awarded to GST

MiCA licence before Christmas will be a nice present but have a feeling Bank of Lithuania will push the date out to well in to 2026 😀

Billy, there was 2 people who commented on the linked in post replying to someone what asked about the chances of an extension beyond the 31/12 and they both said zero chance.

Of course that can change but it feels like they’re leaving it a bit late to extend.

Bank of Lithuania need to get there arses in gear. 3-4 weeks to go, can’t see much getting done around Christmas time. Haven’t even announced 1 out of the 10/12 companies they mentioned a few weeks ago.

This chap here states that only one company has a MiCA licence which is Robinhood. They are the only company with a MicA licence but they’re the only company based in Lithuania that has a licence, they’re are numerous others from other EU countries. Trading 212, Etoro, Amina all have MiCA licences and they’re Malta or Cypriot based.

He mentions in his post that 29 other companies have already applied for similar licenses in Lithuania, with 10 applications currently under review. I read that as the 10 applications under review are companies in Lithuania. I would understand if 10 companies out of the EU we would be up against but this post suggests it’s 10 companies from just Lithuania?

I’ve been thinking for the last few weeks something big must be on the horizon.

Payhound just announced on LinkedIn there MiCA / CASP licence has been confirmed.

Should see a few more pop up over the next 2 weeks or so now in the run up till end of the year.

When are these companies wanting there 50k’s worth of shares is my question.

I’m a bit bemused as to what is the plan here. Would be nice for JB just to set a roadmap out for us … re listing timelines, killi, all these other licences and there future plans.

I think the market read the arbitration wrong imo Kat. GST are going after the sellers, not the other way round. Why would GST go after the sellers if they weren’t 100% adamant legals had been non compliant.

Obviously until there is such outcome but if GST are awarded 2-3mil plus what would that do to the starting price alone?

I don’t think some people actually grasp investing or researching these things Lee. If they didn’t like the bitcoin treasury when it was announced why didn’t they sell?!

You’re actually starting to embarrass yourself Wayne. I think you need to go back and do some research on Bake and why volatility is good for a crypto exchange, tills will be ringing and as Shayne eluded to all transactions went through seamlessly even at the peak of the chaos…

As Chris said at the end first of many podcasts over the next 12 months so if it was a more in depth podcast what would we hear over the next 12 months?
