RE: WedMe6 Oct 2020 11:03
WedMe: just logged on. Thank you for your explanation, which i have found very helpful. I'm a statistical analyst by training and i currently analyse the statistics behind some medical PhD's for a London Teaching Hospital - from the mathematical / statistical point of view not from a medical point of view. I have forwarded your detail to the two Profs i work with for additional comment. Also, have forwarded to Sec of State for Wales (whose wider family are a lot of doctors / nurses).
Can i ask something: the nih paper i posted a couple of weeks ago advised against the use of the nebuliser in a hospital setting due to it being a nebuliser i.e. hospitals not using / doing stuff that could potentially cause aerosol release / stopping endoscopies etc for same reason. Do you think this is an issue?
For clarification, i am trying to get as much detail as possible as i bought in in 2015 due to Woodford buying in not because i knew much about it. Then diluted a couple of times - invested 25k at 17p ave so massively up and the risk is a lot more now than the original 25k stake. So i've gained couple of hundred grand staying in and lost 100 grand not selling. I think i have a fairly open mind on it all - im neither ramping nor deramping, just trying to work it out and what the pros and cons are in a reasonable way. In your view what are the cons? There must be some or we'd all be on it. And i dont think its because Boris or his team are useless - if there were only pros, there would be urging from the medics & Chris Whitty. SO trying to get some balance as to pros and cons for informed decisions.... thanks for any input you can provide in advance.
