Just watched the first minute of this latest video and it makes you wonder about watching the rest of it when the person doesn’t seem to have a clue where we are in the building of the decline.

Yes in hindsight, I would of sold at 38p and bought back at 6.8p, but I truly believe my eventual profit from my initial £300k investment in GGP will give me far more in return than what you will ever earn.

What does it matter, if your not trading it. Just sit tight, happy knowing that in the end your patience will pay off.

Now if your trading this share, that’s a different story.

People should take the opportunity whilst the SP has been in the 7/8p range since September 22, as a signal the the SALE is coming to an end.

Ben, even if some ticked & tocked it correctly, they would still be holding the proceeds in whatever account they first held.
Whether that be a S&S isa or a SIPP.

Like I said, I can’t see many buying through a trading account and having to pay CGT on any profit and filling in tax returns. Unless like I said earlier, you where trading large amounts over the £20k annual allowance.

Ben, why do you keep insisting that most of the LTH’s have three different pots.
Where’s your evidence of that for a start, and secondly, why would they ?

Unless you were a wealthy person before investing into GGP, I just don’t get your analogy of LTH’s having a trading pot.
Why would you when you can stick £20k per annum into an S&S Isa, unless you expect to make losses, but who does that.

Firstly Napthman, the figure of 233,530,947 is the amount of shares held by VanEck GDXJ from the 3rd April 23
I stated that on the 31st March 23 they held 228,533,416

That’s only an increase of 4,997,531

Today’s TR1 has now stated they have now acquired a total of 256,099,356 an increase of a further 22,568,409 not the 16,743,968 that MF11 stated earlier.

The VanEck GDXJ UK ETF has a further allocation of 24,928,154 GGP shares held in the fund as of today’s date.

I’m not having a go fella’s, but please check correct positions before posting.

Not entirely correct .

That figure of 209,377,376 was from the last time VanEck had to make a TR1 notification, which was on 30/08/22.

On the 31-03-23 they already declared a holding of 228,533,415 as can be seen on their website

The GDXJ continuously adjust by a couple of million the amount of GGP shares held most weeks.
It’s a myth that they only change on a rebalancing day.

Just thought I’d post the information so folk don’t get the wrong end of the stick.

Yes it’s great that they have bought more GGP, but that is only because of the merger between Pan American silver and Yamana Gold, thus making their weighting over the 8% threshold.

Hopefully that clears things up, as reading through lots of posts since COP yesterday, many have interpreted the U/T incorrectly.
