Firstly it’s Telfer not Telfar ! And secondly Blackrock are not one of the cornerstone institutional investor that hold GGP shares. They’re well down the pecking order.

Interesting thoughts by Stu last night on the live show regarding his theory of a 13:1 consolidation, thus GGP then only having 1B shares going forward into the ASX listing.

It’s going to be interesting to see just how the MM’s play us tomorrow.

Will they give us that rerate some think should happen, due to the fact that we will now 100% own Telfer and gain back the 70% of Havieron we once had.

Or will they mark us down, due to the fact that a further 20% of new shares will be coming onto the market (Yes I know they are locked in for now).

Or will we just stay as we are, as some think the price from 4.8p to today’s 7.3p has already been baked in.

It’s a tough one to call, it’s like sitting at the table holding all 4 aces, but knowing a Royal Flush could end in tears.

Freddie I think Santa may have emptied his sack well before getting around to yours, if you’re expecting 10.8p within the next three weeks. But hopefully you are correct, I just can’t see it myself.

Cullpepper, at least I’ve packed my canoe with plenty of ballast (cash gain’s) to guide me gently through any choppy waters that may still be ahead. You on the other hand are sat there without a paddle on the precipice of going over the edge of Niagara Falls. Try dipping your toe in the water instead of your Ar5e.

Cullpepper you do like giving it large with your opinions don’t you, but you never seem to make any money by playing the game correctly. All you try and do is point out just what a nervous Nelly you actually are.

You could have made some good coin these past couple of weeks if only you’d have had a little faith. Instead you seem to be saying you’ll keep your powder dry until you see things play out to your liking. By then you’ll have missed it AGAIN.

Cullpepper do you really think Newmont are going to sell 1.3 Billion of their shares to Wyloo at 7.2p, when we are already at that price now, and they have 4 years left to see just how GGP perform. Somehow I doubt it !

Personally I think they’ll be looking for a much better return, and probably targeting a sale price of around 25p, giving them a huge windfall compared to when they entered into the agreement at 4.8p !

Afternoon TT, yes I agree, there’s nothing wrong with taking the quick profit that has been offered since September, but going forward I can see this eventually drifting back down, thus trapping investors in, just like what happened here at the back end of 2020. I can see a few more Ginger’s posting away on that board in a few months time no doubt.

Take ownership of YOUR decisions, don’t go blaming others for your lack of foresight, it’s not as if you’re on your own when it came to not cashing out at the top is it. The only to blame unfortunately is You. Get over it !

I can’t agree with you more Bamps regarding GBP.

The last raise they did, which it seems a lot from this board decided to jump in, only raised £250k. They then issued the following shares.

Callum Baxter - 330,769,231

Omar Ahmad - 243,115,907

Henna Choudray - 87,653,324

Totalling 661,537,940M shares added at a price of 0.065pps = £429,989,661

Basically the oversubscribed raise of £250k hasn’t even paid for the newly issued shares to directors never mind any exploration cost’s.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d be saying “watch out there’s shorter’s about”, watch your backs gentlemen, you’ve already witnessed what they can do first hand, but good luck to those who have taken their profits already. A bird in the hand n’all that.

ATP that’s a very difficult question to answer.

Once Callum left GGP, his shareholding that used to be listed on the Bloomberg Terminal in his own name, then transferred to the Charles Stanley Group Ltd listing showing 115,556,702 as of 19/12/23.

This holding was then transferred to Raymond James Wealth Management which also shows the same holding of 115,556,702

As I’ve not seen the Bloomberg Terminal for quite a while, I’ve no idea if that holding has increased or decreased. Another poster did put a link up a couple of weeks ago but I didn’t check to see if there had been any changes to that particular holding. Maybe somebody else could check it out.

Somehow I just can’t see Callum selling anything since December 23, as I think the SP hasn’t been above circa 8p and as most LTH’s, I think he’d like that figure to be back to something akin to the old ATH. Remember what he said “It’s a Win Win”, what he didn’t say is WHEN !

I was just looking back at some of my old posts, and this one from December 2020 certainly got my attention.

It was the best board on LSE by far, and certainly nothing like it has now turned into 🤦‍♂️

I’d hate to think what Van Eck’s average is having initially buying most of their holding at circa 21p, due to a miscalculation by them on just how many they had to buy. They then rode it all the way up to 38p, before being able to offload just a few million.

They must be hopeful of a return to at least that initial 21p, as upto now this must surely be one of their big losses within the fund.
