Morning Timber, this increase by Konwave is surely only making up for the 60 million that Jupiter Gold & Silver sold. I remember it being a positive when they initially increased, but nobody seems to have mentioned them since selling 69% of their holdings in GGP.

Anyway there’s a long way to go yet, and there’ll be lots of bumps in the road to manoeuvre around. Anyway It matters not one jot at the end of the day.

So just a little word of advice if you want to remain solvent, take a look at what cartoons, text stories, and other written statements that are false or could harm another individual's reputation could lead to. StarBright why are you apologising to me ? I never said they were worried about maximising - or even making - positive returns on individual portfolio investments, as can be seen in almost all their purchases of GGP shares. Their first purchase back in September of 2020 @ 21 pence, is proof of that, and further rebalances since show they’ve paid top dollar.

I’ll admit I haven’t a clue on how the index works because I’ve never been interested in it, so why you bring my name into your post and try and make a point of it is totally baffling. If I’d ever said anything that you purport I’ve said then by all means hold me to task for it, if not, don’t bother !

Hey Speedie can I just interrupt you there. I never said that the GDXJ purchase was a done deal. What I actually said was, that it looked to me with all the millions of late reported trades from the week before that were shown, that in my opinion those could have been the supposedly 163m shares that the GDXJ were to purchase. I never stated it was fact, as like you correctly stated WTFDHk !

Nothing different to what your opinions are on the POG, at the end of the day they’re just educated guesses that may or not be proven correct.

Looking Ahead to 2025

The future of Greatland has never looked brighter, with a number of important value catalysts in 2025.

At Telfer, we have resumed dual train processing and production, and in the meantime we are busy pursuing mine life extension opportunities. In the March 2025 quarter we will release an updated Mineral Resource estimate for Telfer, and an updated Ore Reserve will follow later in the year.

At Havieron, work on Greatland’s feasibility study is well underway, seeking to refine our present development and mine plan which delivers a lowest quartile all-in sustaining cost and 20-year mine life. Our feasibility study is targeted to be completed in the second half of 2025.

From a corporate perspective, we are preparing for Greatland’s ASX cross listing, targeted in the June 2025 quarter. There is strong and growing interest in the Greatland story among ASX investors, and we believe the ASX listing will provide for additional institutional ownership of Greatland shares.

Transformative Acquisition

Earlier this month we acquired 100% ownership of the Telfer gold-copper mine and Havieron gold-copper project, by acquisition from Newmont Corporation (NYSE:NEM). This transaction immediately transformed Greatland into a significant Australian gold-copper producer at Telfer, with a world class development project in Havieron. Combining Havieron and Telfer under Greatland’s single ownership provides the opportunity to operate efficiently and deliver an exceptional platform for continued growth, and a compelling opportunity to create value for our shareholders.

Key achievements of 2024:

Acquisition signed and announced (10 September)

Greatland announced entry into a binding agreement to consolidate 100% ownership of Telfer, Havieron and other related assets in the Paterson region, for total consideration of up to US$423 million, plus a US$52 million debt repayment. This important milestone was the result of significant collaborative and constructive bilateral engagement between Greatland and Newmont.

Successful equity raising (13 September)

We successfully closed an equity raising of US$334 million to fund the Acquisition, including a US$325 million institutional placing and US$9 million retail offer. This is the largest equity raising by a mining company on a London exchange since 2017, and we are delighted and grateful for the strong support of both existing and new shareholders.

Shareholder approval of the Acquisition (30 September)

Greatland’s existing shareholders overwhelmingly approved the Acquisition and associated equity raising, with 99.75% of shareholders who voted voting in favour.

Debt facilities executed (3 December)

Greatland executed A$100 million in debt facilities with its leading Australian and international natural resource banking syndicate of ANZ, HSBC and ING. The banks have been important partners of Greatland since 2022, and the facilities provide additional liquidity and flexibility for working capital requirements for operating Telfer.

Acquisition successfully completed (4 December)

Greatland successfully completed the Acquisition of Telfer and Havieron on 4 December 2024, emerging as a material Australian producer of gold and copper. The acquisition of Telfer provides a defined mine plan that is materially de-risked with substantial already-mined ore stockpiles and significant mine life extension prospects. Havieron is a world class orebody with a defined pathway to become a low-cost long life gold-copper asset of significant scale.

Antigua18, well it’s quite obvious, to me anyway, that the demand is not there for our shares, well at least not yet !

Once investors can see profits being shown in abundance, that’s when the demand will occur. What we are currently seeing is opportunism by some who purchased in the last raise taking profits off the table. What was it Charles Archer said about expecting volatility in our SP over the first few months, until the board can prove they’ve got everything under control, and showing they can turn a profit. You can’t just expect because we are already invested and have put our heart’s & souls into GGP over the last few years, that everything will turn around to the upside just like that ! It’s going to require a bit more patience and good fortune before we see the benefits come our way.

I appreciate the feeling’s that a lot of investors share regarding watching the SP drift lower, when all we want to see is it rise, and I’m not immune to those feelings either, as I’ve probably got more than most riding on this, but I have become desensitised to the volatility of what we all witness when we feel there’s something underhanded going on. I’m not a religious person by any means, but I do still put my trust and faith in the BOD’s, that they will deliver on their pledge to turn GGP into a multi mine, multi billion dollar company, but it won’t happen overnight or within 12 months. This investment has now turned into what I can only describe as the “Slow boat to China”, but you’re either on it or not.

Oh c’mon fella’s, that purchase for the GDXJ was already completed last week. What did you think all those huge after market trades were all about. I said at the time, that they had front run the rebalance date as they have done almost every time since their first purchase in 2020 when they had their pants pulled down because of a miscalculation. I can’t believe you all thought that today was the day they would be purchasing circa 163 million shares. Why dya think we almost touched 8p ? BWTFDIK, nothing, that a blind man on a galloping horse couldn’t spot from a thousand paces. Did you honestly think they are as predictable as that ? Of course they aren’t !
