Freddie yet again you prove to all who visit this bulletin board, just what a short sighted view you have regarding investing in GGP.
Having read your post for quite a while now, your all about the here & now, wanting immediate gains on the capital you have invested.
Unfortunately in the real world, that almost never comes true.
It sounds to me, just like many others, you took a punt on GGP, and got caught out with your pants down.
One thing you are correct about is that in HINDSIGHT, and I stress that word, then yes most people would have loved to have cashed in, to then buy back at these low levels.
That’s life, some you win some you don’t.
But do I think I will see new ATH’s, you can bet your bottom dollar I do.
Will I be saying that GGP was a bad investment, definitely NOT.
Keep having a go at the LTH’s here (the one’s who did nothing and sat on their hands) is a little premature from where I’m sitting.
A lot of LTH’s, me included have seen truly life changing amounts of money disappear from our paper profits, but in the next few years, will reap the benefits of holding.
Investing in my eyes, is always a case of whether or not I can turn an amount of money by investing it into something, whether that be shares in GGP, adding to my property portfolio or choosing Red or Black.
I don’t put a timescale on it, I just at some point in time, take my money off the table and say to myself “That paid off”.
Now whether I chose to take it off at the optimum time, only time will tell, but for someone to say if you had done this, then done that, is just poppycoc(.
I wish you well in your strategy, but for me, I’ll stick to my gut feeling, and that hasn’t served me to bad for all these years.
Keep the faith, the gold & copper ain’t going anywhere, except 30% of it into GGP’s coffers.
