Aimingtoplease, the one thing the MM’s can’t control is a little thing called sentiment.

The tide seems to have changed for the better.

Investors can smell blood as far as the shorters are concerned, by their continuance of digging themselves deeper & deeper into a hole were eventually the sides will collapse in on themselves, to find they are trapped.

Digging themselves out will only expedite the rise in the SP.

Now just upped it to 1M @ 12.15p

Jamesp21, we have had this discussion before.
IG seem to give you a quote for almost any number you care to ask.
It doesn’t mean they will take them once you press sell.
Currently the most any broker will take in one go is 500,000 @ 12.05p.

Evening DH, I’ve seen many a poster say what there going to do with their riches once this gets to a quid.

Everything from fast cars, new houses and holiday retreats to repairing an old barge.

Morning Red, for me it’s not about seeing this throughout the end, as we don’t know were and when the end may be.

Investors here have many different takes on how they propose to make good use of any gains we ultimately receive.

I’m very fortunate to have got in just at the right time, after learning about GGP for 18 months before I committed to spending a penny.

On the day when NCM announced they were entering the foray, after HAD005 had already been announced, that was a massive buy signal for me.

I literally chucked the kitchen sink at it, £300k in total over the next 12 months.

So you see my dilemma, how much is enough. I don’t need this to play out until the end. I just need it to play out far enough for me to say enough is enough.

I respect your post because we are all different, with different amounts of shares bought at different prices.
If I sold out at 50p and someone else purchased them and then sold them for a £, then I’d say “Well done”.
Both of us would of done well.

I could of sold the lot at 38p and had a fantastic retirement, but I didn’t.
That’s life, I didn’t achieve the FMV for what I thought my holding is worth.
At some point I will, and that is when I will hand the baton over to someone else to try and make a few quid.

I’m not afraid of coming on here and letting folk know that I could of walked away with a few bob in my ar5e pocket.
Many others here have done the same.
Anyone can say they bought at the bottom, sold at the top, then bought again at 10p.
But one thing I can tell you is that 99.9% of those that do are lying.

Good luck to all genuine folk here, I’m not going anywhere for the foreseeable, unless that offer comes in that makes it too tempting for me to resist.

Schlemiel, of course NCM want Havieron-Telfer in its entirety, but at what price.

If it was this year, I’d probably take 50p. But as each month passes, I’d want a further penny per share.
That is based not on how ultimately I think the SP could get to, but my age, and wanting to enjoy the time whilst still fit enough for it to make a difference.

What about the rest of you, what would be your sell-out price knowing what we know and why ?

Well with the 5% now out of the way, one thing that is now open for scrutiny is any valuation that NCM may or may not assign to GGP’s 25%.

If they do come along with say an offer of say 25p, then they will also be putting a value on their 75% holding of Havieron, which could lead to counter offers of a buy out from larger hungry whales.

I hope that NCM treat us like a pilot fish, that doesn’t mind us idly swimming along side them in a partnership where both find benefits from each other.

I find it amusing that peoples expectations change like the wind.
18 months ago, everyone was laughing at anyone who mentioned selling out at 75p never mind 25p.
But as our SP has been driven down, and the naysayers have bashed sentiment away, some people now seem to accept a low ball offer is inevitable.

I ask WHY ?

The gold’s still there, in-fact more than we knew.

We still haven’t found the edges or the depth of this mammoth find.

We look as if finding the funds to pay our share of the capex will be sorted.

The value of the commodities at Havieron, even after a slight pullback in the last couple of months is still far greater than what NCM accounted for, and could get much greater.

If a certain poster wants to sell the rest of his holdings at a price of 22p, then that’s up to him. But ask yourself this, why did the likes of Blackrock pay 29p and above for their holding if it’s only worth 22p.

I think Blackrock, GDXJ and other ii’s have a better handle on where this is heading than a few individuals who post here.

Why is Callum still holding around 160M shares between his personal holding and that of his investment company STARVEST.

close of business on the 1st September to decide if they are to purchase the 5%.
If they don’t take the option up, then happy days as far as I’m concerned, but they would be crazy to let it pass them by.

Does anyone else get the feeling that NCM never thought that GGP would still be around at this stage.

I feel that the NCM thought the discovery hole HAD005, would only be a satellite discovery of between 4-10 million ounces.
I don’t think they ever thought it was going to turn into what they are now discovering it to be, which is why they agreed to loaning the $50M to GGP.

Imo NCM thought the $50M would of been enough to buy the whole lot.

$10M for the 5% and then saying, “You still owe us $40M so I’ll tell you what, we will take the pressure off you guys by taking the rest for what you still owe us”.

They should’ve renamed it “Goldzilla” as this is turning into a right monster.

NCM now find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Firstly their own shareholders want dividends on a par with what their peers are paying out, and who can blame them, as that’s one of the most important things that investors of large companies want.

Secondly, they seem to be playing down the importance of how big this is becoming, because they know that the value to GGP will grow exponentially, and that in turn will cost them far more.

So how do they get their cake and eat it, I don’t think they can. Well not until another 3-5 years anyway, by which time it won’t really matter to us because our SP by then should be far in excess of where we find ourselves today.

Only then can I see NCM making an offer, and that is where you might see the 40% premium paid over and above the SP of what it is then, not now.

I’m quite happy to see how this all unfolds in the next couple of years.
But if I’m being totally honest, I would like to take some profits off the table before I’m to old to spend them, but not at daft prices that seem to have been touted by some here. ie 20p - 30p takeover, not a chance.

If it wasn’t for GGP there wouldn’t be a Havieron. That alone should entitle them to 25%.
Did you listen to the speech yesterday about how many times NCM put a drill in the ground and decided it wasn’t for them and eventually gave up the lease.

Just like the ones who jumped aboard in late 2020, and who now will do and say anything in the hope of getting the SP up just so they can bail out.

There’s no evidence as yet, that NCM are doing anything to put forward a takeover. It’s just peoples opinions, not gospel according to St John.
