DW - how on earth can you suggest EV charger was “wrong” when we’re teamed up with a huge Swiss company like ABB who have customers across 80 countries! They’re even invested in AFC. Ludicrous!
Haggis- I trust you’re not accusing me of subtle deramping. If that’s the case then it really is time to delete my account on this board. Of course we know what’s going on via RNSs but of course nobody knows exactly what’s happening behind the scenes for any company otherwise we’d be on the BOD.
I rest my case with DWs comment this morning
Hi ReoninV. I get the frustration, we’re all in the same boat of not knowing exactly what’s going on. This is true of course for any company investment. Unless you’re on the inside of course. DW seems to have a hatred for AB and that is quite disturbing in my opinion. His repeated ranting about AB will only serve to make AFC even more dismissive of PIs and a case of “if you say something often enough, you’ll make people believe it is true”. That, to me is unbelievably divisive.
I’d be interested to understand why you use the term “flailing around “ ?
Aldebaran - if that’s your opinion then why are you even looking at this board? In fact I’d suggest investing is not for you, especially the AIM market. Or maybe you just have an ulterior motive spending time on this company rather than the myriad of other companies you could be investing in ?
1johntique- I haven’t dodged any question. I was replying to your comment earlier “so if the market wanted that, and we launched it (over a month ago) “. My response was that I believe it’s naive to think we should expect an order in that timeframe for the reasons given. I cannot predict the procurement process and daren’t be so bold but we do know that the existing partnerships took months to work through and those partnerships weren’t product orders.
Totally agree with that sentiment ReoninV. This is year 11 for me. I just think we have to think carefully about what we write here as glib statements can be taken the wrong way by new investors and it could appear that AFC are making no effort regarding sales. We have to assume that is their MO.
We supposedly now have a commercial /working product with others due end of year and yes we definitely need to start seeing sales but, as Nick agrees, the procurement process can be time consuming. And yes of course, we’re all in the dark as usual, which is unbelievably frustrating.
1johntique/Reonin - are you serious? That was hardly name calling. It’s a discussion and the comment was rather naive in my opinion. Posters have said the same to me on here - it’s not offensive! But you made it sound like companies make instant decisions to make potentially big investments in new tech. These companies will need to undertake due diligence and this process will often involve looking at other comparable tech out there to ensure the organisation is getting the best/most cost effective product for their organisation. Hence the B&Q analogy. Have a good day both.
1johntique - that’s rather naïve. Procurement takes time It’s not like popping into B&Q and buying an electric fan off the shelf.
Another one post wonder arrives. Laughable
Hi Marley2
DW stated “no insider buys at all” so I suggest you look at RNSs entitled “Director/PDMR….
DW - you have clearly misunderstood the purpose of my post or, at worst admit that you are one of the shorters. My post was not directed at any particular individual and nor should it have been. It was directed at a generic group of individuals who are greedy and do not consider the wider issues here.
I’ve just had a couple of friends over to pick up a large collection of ladies and children’s clothing that my wife has coordinated with a group of her friends.
Our friends decided to host a Ukrainian mother and her child and they arrived in Bristol on Wednesday after an arduous journey. These people are so utterly devastated by the atrocities taking place in Ukraine, they are most likely suffering PTSD. A whole wall out of their apartment had been blown away and absolutely nothing left inside the apartment!
Their husbands and fathers to their traumatised children remain in Ukraine of course, and whilst they are now in the safety of UK shores they still suffer the hardship of speaking to their families that remain in Ukraine. This lady and her son have £400 to their name plus the clothes they arrived in.
So the point of my post is to prick the consciences of the individuals who invade these forums to attempt to manipulate the share prices of companies like AFC for their own gain.
We ALL have a duty to do what we can :
a) to ensure Putin and his vile cronies are no longer paid for their fossil fuels that are funding this absurd war in Ukraine and other countries. Not only are we funding their war effort but we are subsidising their obscene lifestyles. This has to stop!
b) let’s not forget that we have to ensure the world is cleaned up so that our children have a planet to live in and ensure the likes of Ukraine have a purpose to rebuild their broken countries.
Supporting companies like AFC is not just a way for us to invest and hopefully make a profit but we ALL have a duty to support these fledgling companies so that the above two points can win through.
I am absolutely sick of reading people responding to the likes of Garonne. They are the minority.
The majority here, who have a conscience and want companies like AFC to address these massive world issues absolutely will succeed!
Thanks for your time on this May bank holiday.
Oh ffs just put the snivelling little tick on ignore! I’ve been out all day and it’s insane coming back to a load of repetitive posts about that idiot! Just filter it !
Thanks Haggis for posting the pictures about what we’re here to discuss..AFC !
As far as I can see, the L series is still in contention. It’s been improved and they clearly wanted to showcase it at UAP as well as the Power Tower. Until AFC themselves tell us point blank that the Lseries is not part of our product portfolio, then we have no right to dismiss it idly on a discussion board.
Great to see UAP showcased for the first time in the UK with significant world wide interest. The Shell tie up with ABB is also significant news this week and could surely lead to significant world wide orders for AFC.
Get real folks and filter this idiot as many did 18 months ago!
Thanks Heath23 - sounds like an interesting day out!
Hydrogen needs to become more mainstream and with everything going on regarding gas and oil in the world, companies will surely be accelerating Hydrogen. Even BoJo mentioned it today in the House of Commons.
AFC need to make a concerted effort to get their name out there and hopefully the new marketing recruit will serve this purpose in the coming weeks once he’s settled in. Energy is on everyone’s mind at the moment whether it be from an economic or environmental perspective. Exciting times! AFC need to deliver now as this should be our moment to shine!
Hi AaronJ - Garmoan hasn’t changed in almost 2 years. I soon got very tired of his ‘woe is me’ attitude. He clearly has an agenda to create negativity around AFC. My conscience was clear when I filtered him a month after he appeared some 2 years ago and he is absolutely one to ignore in my opinion. Replying constantly will cause yourself anxiety whilst he is quietly chuckling to himself as he is either paid or part of a group that drags companies like AFC down before they’re given a chance to succeed. Such behaviour is vile and shows how despicable and greedy fellow humans can be. They’re very much in the Putin camp. Strong analogy perhaps but sadly true.
Hi Alt, I wasn’t suggesting there was a pecking order of course. Just that doubters should take note!
4th position: AFC Energy plc
Looks like great PR to me…

DW..you should be on the stage….. sweeping it !
:-D
Seg- I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that there’s a simple remedy by painting one of the blades and this reduced bird collisions drastically.
Potential opportunity for AFC. I’ve just sent this across to them. Just think of the number of polluting ferries in the world…
