The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
“Persistent ramping “? Balanced discussion you mean. Nobody likes an echo chamber for sure and I don’t believe it is anything like that. You sound very bitter about being booted though. LSE has however turned into an echo chamber of negativity though especially when it suits your agenda.
Well done to BumbleB3 and others for calling out deliberate lies and other libellous remarks.
Haggis- excellent and factual summary.
“to the delight of the rampers on this board” - what an idiotic comment to make. It’s those RNSs that are providing the facts that everyone needs in order to prevent the speculation (positive or negative).
I’d much rather focus on the facts than the repetitive nonsense that spouts from the usual suspects on here.
Get behind AFC or just walk away. Simple.
They’d get into trouble with trade descriptions if this isn’t the unit that produced in excess of 100kw. Could it be that this unit will also house double the capacity of cells in order to output in excess of 200kw ?
It does look very neat and of comparable size to the diesel units they’re replacing. Agree this is a game changer.
DW - there are lots of vacancies at AFC. Why don’t you stop your endless and baseless moaning and join the company. You’ll have inside information then and you can complain directly to your employers and of course you’ll be contributing to the company at the same time. Unless of course you’re sacked within 10 minutes for spending an inordinate amount of time on this board !
The best thing to do BB3 is for everyone to report these posters. LSE will soon realise what’s going on and remove their accounts. Filtering is good but doesn’t prevent these people from posting what they do.
Report !
What a load of nonsense! Not even worthy of a reply. Another one to filter
OwainG - More than ever, the world needs fertiliser. As BB3 has pointed out to you, ammonia is already transported by shipping.
Shipping is one of the greatest sources of pollution in the world today.
More than ever, those ships need to be converted from polluting diesel to a clean energy source and as you know, AFC are heavily involved in the design of fuel cells to displace diesel. We now have a cost effective solution to efficiently generate the hydrogen fuel our own fuel cells!
I don’t suppose there’s a risk to carrying oil around the world in vast tankers? I don’t suppose the diesel used to power those ships poses an environmental risk? I think you need to try and think outside of the box.
DW the market is huge. Yes of course they need to deliver and yes there is a need to increase scale of output via integration of the containers. However I think you have engineered your post to create panic.
Other factors would need to be taken into account when building multiple integrated units such as substations to offload the resulting power? It is complicated!
British company !
I disagree DW. What’s being pointed out here is the potential for ABB/AFC to get involved in this grant funding. We all know that the grid will not currently cope with the anticipated growth in EVs. So, an ideal opportunity to substitute the grid with off-grid generation. Similarly, there’s clearly a huge and increasing demand on current EV chargers with many of these chargers out of commission. So, in my opinion an ideal opportunity for our new Business Development Manager?
Thomgstring - just because AFC stated 50 quailed leads doesn’t mean that all 50 would instantaneously be supplied with a PT. Clearly the PT has been tried and tested with a select few bi names in the construction industry. Tweaks to a new product are an inevitable consequence of trials. If the technology was that simple, we’d have been rattling them out years ago. Yes, I’d love to see instant sales/deals but the reality requires patience and I’m confident we’re now very close (if not already there) to a stable design that can be produced at scale with the added benefit of flexible fuels of course.
Taken the words out of my mouth BB3. What an utter fraud this person is. There’s no way the DW of previous years wrote that post. Compare the English used today against the posts of the last few days and under his old account. Another poster outed ! Incompetend and laughable!
I don’t believe my post was aggressive. I am calling out that this board has been infected for a couple of years now and probably coincides with the Brontë short position- hence my thoughts on “investing “. You’re right to filter and I have many posters on filter from over the years. Thanks
MelvinAFC - you should invest in a company if you believe in what they’re doing. As an investor you should be investing in its success and not trying to screw it into the ground!
The world needs new technology like this and Britain needs to encourage and nurture fledgling companies that will create employment , bring increase tax revenues and in AFCs case reduce CO2 emissions as we create a more sustainable future.
Any other devious means of making money and calling it “investing “ is unbelievably disingenuous.
Rupert/aimmillionaire/gitfinger has been caught out as one of these disingenuous investors. A devious individual at best. Too many like him on here these days sadly.
Looks like a sea of blue buys to me. Buying opportunity.
Valid point Haggis. We have so much more to be updated on. Very exciting
More competition. This can only be good and proves we’re in the right market
What CFO in their right mind would rely solely on an external company? Due diligence!
Nonsense DW. How could you possibly get to grips with a growing company like AFC in 4 months and produce an accurate account of the company’s finances. Due diligence it’s called and he’ll want to ensure everything is in order before putting his name to it
