Some perspective is needed when comparing other companies, zara are probably balancing their shop portfolio a tad and reacting to current market conditions.

The bunch of clowns running this show were spending 100s of millions trying to buy growth that didn't exist and sadly it all imploded.... They were building infrastructure for a 4 billion revenue company that didn't actually exist and never will.

A listed company is required to inform the market if its company secretary leaves. This is a mandatory disclosure under the UK Listing Rules (UKLR), which aim to ensure transparency and prevent a false market in the company's securities.

Market Notification (Regulatory Information Service - RIS)

Under UKLR 6.4.1 R, a listed company must notify a Regulatory Information Service (RIS) as soon as possible of any change to the board. While the company secretary is not always a director, their role is considered a key appointment for governance and compliance, and thus their departure is material information for the market.

The company must announce the following details:

The resignation, removal, or retirement of the secretary.

The effective date of the change.

2 company secretary's chucked their tickets in the same year..... Maybe those in the know don't see such a bright delusional future.... What with the biggest single revenue loss coming this year it might get a tad darker.....

Bear in mind those latest numbers for 6 months to August would have seen even bigger declines in plt was included/available to see.... It would have been minus 30% and worse for gmv/revenue and gross profit...

Another corker from this clown show..... this statement from a previous growth plan basically ousts them for issuing the new plan without asking shareholders to vote.... zero corporate governance.

This is an absolute corker from year end feb24...... they talk of a positive trend but the next year the youth brands lost 22 percent of their revenue and then went on to lose another 41 percent for h1 of this current year!...

How is that a positive trend?

Nah I'm back now, did a quick 4 nighter to see what its all about....

Tip for anyone that's planning on going and doing the empire state building - book the 9.30 observatory time slot and get there for 9am... You will be first in the queue at that time and if you walk straight through the museum and onto the lifts you will have the whole observatory to yourself for the first 10 minutes - amazing experience for you and you family! Then do the museum bit after.

There was absolutely no excuse for any poor service at any point in this business - they were over staffed by thousands of people yet not one person on the end of the phone.

You wait and see how it gets even worse with the staff cuts - if a business has problems while over staffed then you can only imagine when its under staffed.

If i had to describe Ashley I would say he has built an amazing company in sports direct/frasers, and has made some amazing investments in companies such as hugo boss where he made 700 million alone.

But yes he has also bought and stripped failed businesses, the point there though is the failed businesses have been destroyed by incompetent directors. Blaming ashley is similar to blaming a scrapper that buys bashed up cars and strips them to make a profit.

So a car owner crashes their car, scrapper buys it and splits it up for profit - it would be ludicrous to blame the scrapper for the crashed/failed car? Yet in the stock market the directors who crashed the business just walk away and the buyer of the business gets the blame somehow - the world is bonkers.

A long while ago I asked Mahmud how did he just sit by and watch Ashley build a bigger position than the Kamani family, his response was that he thought Mike was buying in for the recovery but it was now causing him issues... I had to point out that Mike probably was buying in for a recovery but the company hadn't delivered it!

Lets also not forget the mess that the boohoo board caused over at revb and in yeh process destroying that company value as well as their own... What a disaster that has been.

What has Mike done that is parasitic here?

Bearing in mind he doesn't have a board seat and exerts zero influence on company decisions.

He did however make sure that management didn't take bonuses for complete and utter failure and also supported a placing when the company was desperate for cash.
